Changing brake booster on 2013 Chevy Malibu

      @@Icanfixit-2hey i did it on mine. However for some reason the brake goes in deeper now. Brakes fine and all but feels spongy , does harden after a few pumps. But if you stop for a few seconds it gets spongy again and you brake until the bottom. I bleeded the brakes and same thing any ideas ?

      @@JuanLopez-tt5en check for vacuum leak on your new booster. If everything is good, recheck the master cylinder. If the master cylinder has no leaks and is holding pressure as it should, check ABS fuse. And after that (if everything checks out good) start looking at the ABS relay and the ABS module itself. Also, did you use a scan tool to help bleed the brakes? (And yes some GM vehicles have a setting on the scan tool to bleed brakes through the ABS system.)

      @@Icanfixit-2 im gonna go back and make sure i tightened all the hoses properly, did you change sensor on the brake booster by chance? & i didnt use a scan tool no

      @@JuanLopez-tt5en I didn’t change it. Usually when they go bad it throws a code to the car.
