Personally drive the Ativa but mother bought a WRV. I'm 188CM, and when I tell you the WRV's interior space is sorely lacking compared to the Ativa. Plus, the quality of the plastics and the mish mash of parts from Honda of older generations.... is horribly disappointing when it's priced that way. The only thing the WRV has going for it is its lack of engine vibration at idle compared to the Ativa. Honda Malaysia really missed with this one.
Put aside the cabin space, how do you think cx3 1.5 @ RM 108K will do with these two in the long run. Plus, do you think 1.0 turbo engine will rattle more as time goes by? BTW, great job for the shoot out guys. 👍😊
ativa is the 1st...full safety, full accessories, powerful with power button without crack wallet...wrv a litt small than ativa.wrv price full specc is more than 30k higher than ativa..RM for ativa + axia = 1 unit wrv
I hope you reply. Myself and 4 of my friends have the ativa. We all can smell the turbo quite strongly whenever we push the engine on a long straight road. Apparently its due to exhaust fumes being reused to cool the engine? Did u have a similar experience?
I’ve got a turbocharged car too. It is normal for the turbo to get extremely hot, esp if you’re pushing the car, so no surprise there’s a smell, but it shouldn’t be strong. Most of the time turbos are cooled by circulating the engine oil, and low quality or old oil might burn off. that could be what’s causing the smell.
i am willing to spend as much as WRV for a Car, did consider WRV, however, i am not willing to place an order simply bcos its not worth it. I will wan to go for the top spec variant, but WRV RS is just not worth the asking price. claiming Honda know what they are doing is a stretch tbh, if the car priced lower, i am sure the sales figure will be much higher. if i want to buy a WRV RS anyway, i go for used car instead, which is probably less than 100k now
the highest spec of WR-V priced almost like the city's e-hev model. that's insane
One more important thing is the fuel consumption, ativa not really save in town driving i only managed to clock 11km per liter
True. Mine got 8-10km per liter. But, save more on the maintenance and price hehehe
Ativa marketing je lebih.. Quality hampeh
@@rajakhairulnizam326 perodua semua hampeh

Great points. Can't deny the Ativa as a solid package. Perodua understood the brief.
Which model of the wrv are you referring to?
Wrv is design for little people. Thats why they create little space in interior to make sure little people comfort for driving that car
im actually suprised Ativa with the turbo still left behind, tekan tak preggy ni
This is more to marketing i guess, in Indonesia raize won against the WRV
@@idawan09 yeah maybe. because i own wrv as my daily drive and i used to drive my sisters ativa also. i feel ativa give more pickup than wrv.
@@xena8141 i never driven wrv but owned an ativa, really pickup impressed me...or maybe wrv memang power at low torque 😅
1.0 turbo at mini suv is so laggy. Vtec have better technology in acceleration so 1.5Vtec is better

wr-v costs RM 35,000 more, of course it's better. but i need that money to buy another car (proton) for my little sister, so i drive ativa
Ty for sharing info
compare spec terendah, hrg perbezaan ativa vs wrz = rm27400. Amat jelas Ativa menang.
Dkt jepun hrga wrv sama je dgn ativa. Dia jd mahal sbb cukai je
Interior ativa win
But in term of safety ativa lose
@@traderleyoAtiva Not Lose Because Honda Don't Have BSM,Full Digital Meter And Front Departure.😂
bruh, drive Ativa feel sampan, passanger will get vomit@@mokhtarmdyusof4332
i preferred perodua ativa , 1.0 turbo maa , roadtax cheaper , modern interior style and has a toyota's dna 😍
Just noticed WRV Rear Lamp similar as Myvi
You should do brake test like car wow
That's a great idea!
@@carlist_my I'm still waiting for Corolla, Civic Vs S70 drag race and brake test video 😁
Ativa wins the values hand down...we all must remember it's not a luxury compact SUV. It's a practical machine.
Is this rebadged daihatsu rocky/toyota raize?
Correct
Honda 1.5 more power than toyota 1.5 haha. Now I`m curious if wrv can beat almera turbo in drag race.
ativa is the 1st...full safety, full accessories, powerful with power button without crack wallet...wrv a litt small than ativa.wrv price full specc is more than 30k higher than ativa..RM for ativa + axia = 1 unit wrv
Come sell ..which is better price ? And reliability ?
Dari indo wrv kalah drag dengan ativa..mana satu betul ni😂

Itulah bnyak kali test wrv kalah ini ativa jauh plak kena..
Ativa and wrv under segment b right?
Segment A
Kind of in-between A and B, technically. But these days segment classifications make no sense.
Nope But Both Of Them Is A Segment SUV
Kalau nak bandingkan mana yang berbaloi kena bandingkan Harga dulu. Baru adil

Ativa really cannot do 0~100 drag race, but around 20~80 kmh, the acceleration is quick
What can u aspect in 1.0 turbo for mini suv bro. Ativa also lagg in climb road. So 1.5Vtec is better & practical in acceleration at many surface road
Honda WR-V 👍

Its cukai bro. Dkt jepun murah je wrv ni. Salahkan kerajaan malaysia la 😂
WR-V +1. Can’t stand 3-cyl engines… and yes I’ve driven my family’s Axia and Ativa.
Mind to share how bad is a 3 cylinder car?
WR V 😎😍🔥
Should have x50 to test against it
That WR-V
No use to compare this two vehicles..most importantly buy what is affordale..
Wrv 👍👍
WRV is a good looking one but its interior is too lame, cheap looking for the asking price
Activa service is cheaper.
Ativa is like Bumi Lot, no resale value.
Ada resale value, yr 2022 AV still selling above 60k
p2 no resale value XD?
Ativa not good compared to CRV.
