Really interesting idea to try out, cool! ...I'm wondering though, would it not be better to just listen deeply and absorb the tracks themselves with these ideas in mind, and then see what your 'inner creative muse' comes up with in response as it digests and combines the insights, get out your instrument/tech of choice and play from that? 🎨✨
Hey Sean, thanks for watching! What you describe is a very important technique. If not one of the most important ones for anybody who writes music. But it is not that applicable to this video or it's technique. This video is not about analysing songs. It's about getting surprising results by combining different elements from different songs and to let yourself be surprised by unexpected results :-)
