Wow!! Heavy, true 4 wheel drive, chains, tall thin tires, high ground clearance, hydraulics, v plow. Everything you need to get the job done. That was some heavy, wet snow, packed in from a winter and melt and re freeze. What a backbreaker

I used to plow snow in a little Kubota tractor when I lived in Maine.
I recently visited Croatia as a tourist.
I saw Dubrovnik , Zagreb split.
Wonderful people great food beautiful architecture.
The only thing I missed was the forestry and wood industry 😁 , I'm catching up here thanks for the great video .

A big drawback with a big single blade is rocks and treestumps. Even if you know the road well its hard to predict in a lot of snow, and I know by experience they hit very hard.

Hello its rufus from London England again, I used to live in Zagreb many years ago, back in 1986, beautiful countryside, amazing city, and beautiful girls, food was to die for, and people so friendly, I didn't want to leave, I used to see the beautiful beasts ploughing the roads, even in the surrounding villages you would see these behemoths, if you were lucky you would see one with his lights on at night, it looked like a monster,
You know I would like to see Croatia/Yugoslavia again before I pop my clogs
Could you video these machines in the evening so I can see the lights, maybe you have a friend who has put extra lights on his machine
That snow looks like it started out as a near freezing heavy show with a lot of water content. Then it got cold. That snow got hard and heavy. A lot of weight to push. In the Spring, all that gravel that was scraped off the road will have to be replaced. Question. Which moved easier through the deep frozen snow. That 4 wheel drive vehicle or the the guy on two legs with the camera?
someone should've told him it's the wrong plow for the job.
I have to agree. The v or wedge plow is hitting the high side bank. No place for the snow, then pushes him towards the cliff. A nice big blade would allow him to remove the snow from the high side bank and allow it to roll off the hill. Just my thoughts.
Yup i agree a big 1 way would work better put all the snow over to the right or most of it . But its better than no plow at all
@@openstationloggingkevinbak4625 that deep snow you can't use a diagonal plow you will just be pushed sideways I have plowed thousand of hours vid both types on big wheel loaders spike chains on all wheels here in northern Sweden.
@@Marcmec howdy i worked for a town here in new England 23 yrs pushing snow in winters i have seen alot of snow flakes through the years . They used to use these types years ago but stopped. They would get pushed to the side quite often on second pass . They found the big 1 ways worked a little better on this type of equipment i realize town gravel roads are different but we also had some spots that didn't have guard rails or any protection on one side as well some times you did fall over the edge but any ways good luck with this way . I am not trying to be a know it all just my experience
@@openstationloggingkevinbak4625 well if you see how hard he is pushing to get this v plow through how can you push a big diagonal plow through in this wet hard snow it won't work it's a big difference to plow fresh snow compared to snow that has compacted the hole winter you need the v plow to break the road up then you can use a plow ving I have one that is 1.7 meter high on the right side and the blade is 3.7 meters it's good to widen the road with but not to break it upp you will go sideways for sure.
How much more snow can this machine remove driving downhill vs. uphill?

Less revs let the machine do the work.
Problem with plowing with a skider is no float on blade. keeps digging in .
My skidder has a slightly bigger than normal skidderblade with a small angle. Kills any snow.

Pa ova ralica ti smanjuje produktivnost, za po mom misljenju, čak 70%!!! Treba ti ravna daska s zakretanjem lijevo i desno!!

Da, jer ona snijeg odsijeca od stijene, barem na ovom snimku gdje je trasa s jedne strane stijena, uz koju ova ralica sabija snijeg i gura mašinu s trase, a s druge je slobodan prostor za snijeg koji se kotrlja niz padinu, tako da ne možeš s trase ukloniti snijeg potpuno, a i mašina se dosta napreže, potroši gorivo, lance, po mom sudu nije učinkovita ova V ralica!
Ovaj snijeg je pun vode, zbijen i težak dijelom zaleđen, za ravnu dasku koja bi gurala snijeg treba puno jači stroj od ovog, a to znači veću potrošnju goriva i na nekim dijelovima gdje su nanosi po 3 metra bila bi beskorisna, ovo je prava ralica za ovaj posao ali da je jači stroj nebi škodilo :)
U redu za deblji snijeg tu ste u pravu jer ovo što vi imate je baš PLUG za probijanje većih nanosa!!
