spot on. fashion industry is hard as it is. you're creating products based on things that you *think* would sell and its truly hard to make hit designs continuously. Don't let other people dilute your ideas. You have a great style and great branding so stay true to it and be authentic. Also, celebrity endorsement doesn't always equate to sales. You got this brother! Keep it up.
It's really a balancing act between standing out as a designer and keeping it quiet especially in the beginning because it's really difficult to go about differentiating yourself from everyone else while tempering expectations and keeping track of sales to back your vision up. If you're too simple, selling stuff is hard. But if you're too forward and "extra" then you might just be burning money. It's such an untalked about part of the fashion industry.

Isn’t it a bitch that it takes a little age on you to figure all that shit out? I think it’s a pretty rare person that has the wisdom or foresight to make those good decisions in their 20s. Looks like you might have tamed the beard a bit. Hard to tell without you in boxers and nothing else, but it looks good😂. Personal question, how’d you lose your pinkie. My hubs is missing 3 fingers and he saw me watching your video and asked and I had to say in my best Professor Snape voice, “No idea”.
In a way yea I’m sure, but ultimately the financial return on clout is pretty nonexistent, or at least harder to quantify. I think focusing on product and sales would have lead to the same results.
Thank you for sharing this Spencer. It’s not easy
It sure isn’t :)

Do you think there was any value in acting ‘bigger’ than you were? it landed you some big publications which surely opened some doors
