It's refreshing to hear not just Mozart and his contemporaries, but Chopin and his contemporaries on fortepiano too! Much clearer sound than the modern piano, in my opinion. Also, superb rendition. Thank you for sharing! 💛
Chopin's studies being played in a copy of a fortepiano of his time is way too refreshing. All his music has much more sense played on a fortrpiano. The small hammers and single strings highlight a "crispy" sound that contributes a lot to a clearer phrasing. Do you have recordings of his two piano concertos played in a fortepiano and a small historical orchestra? Thanks for sharing.
@@MuzikayIf RUclips erased only op 25 instead of op 10... I dunno what happens, but... can you recover that video of op 25 and also adding the recording of the 3 nouvelle etudes, please? 🙏
Thank you for this refreshing recording. A much needed prelude to the weekend.
We thank YOU , Mr. Chopin!! For the Composition!!
Perfect
Love your channel!

The modern pianos are too soupy and thick, whereas this is more clear and crisp, which is how I like my music

Finally a recording of the Op. 10/3 Etude at tempo (MM crochet = 50 BPM)!
19:05 sounds like a magical use of the moderator at the most haunting moment in the opus!
Exciting and refreshing interpretation.
I love this sound! Does anybody know why modern pianos dont sound like this?
Change, money and the different styles of music
Smaller hammer-striking surface; lower string tension; parallel stringing throughout; lighter construction; different string alloys; different hammer materials.
@@danielwaitzman2118yes! Somebody with real knowledge.
@@VictorVentriloquista Thank you!
Where is his recording of op. 25? Where is that?
Must've gotten erased by YT. :-(

@@MuzikayHi?
@@jmrabinez9254I will. I'll have to start over, because I don't keep the clips after I create them. Might take some time.
@@MuzikayOh, well, ok. Thank you for telling me.
