What is the one from Amazon that is your favorite? Thanks. Enjoyed your video. I am considering this model and glad to see a real-life video on it.

I just got this exact model to get patches onto athletic wristbands. Any suggestions on how to do it? Completely new to this unfortunately.

How are you liking it now? Is the fancier studio still a good buy or do you recommend spending the extra for this new one?

Is there any specific transfer company that you would recommend which can do 8+ colors? Or is that too many? I have a lot of intricate and detailed designs.

One of the guys that works for PW participates a lot on t-shirtforums.com. He goes by proworlded (as in ProWorld Ed). I had questions about their heat presses, and he bent over backwards for me in the evening and on a weekend. He was not giving me any semblance of a sales pitch - just helping me decide the size and type of heat press that would work best for me. I did end up ordering the16x20 version of the one shown in this video. To let you know how much in demand ProWorld's TransPro models are, pretty much every single one of them is on backorder. The information they have on their site is amazing, and they have many videos on their RUclips channel to help you with pretty much everything you would ever want to do. I received fast responses from their customer service - which, by the way, is very highly spoken of by everyone I've talked to. My experience with HPN was, well, not so much. In the middle of answering my questions (I fully intended to order a heat and mug press from them THAT DAY), the customer support person left and handed me over to someone that I had to start back at the beginning with. Then a third person (no, I didn't have that many questions - I had done my research and was asking very specific questions). That left me with a sour taste in my mouth. A little later I was perusing t-shirtforums.com for recommendations on heat presses and several people mentioned that the go-to person to ask, and was frequently on their forums, was Ed, and he worked at ProWorld. I sent him a PM and was very surprised when he answered me only a few minutes later. Ed answered all my questions, took time out of his schedule to help me (it was after hours for him), and I never felt that I was being steered to buy from PW. It was his friendliness and helpfulness that made up my mind for me. When I found TONS of good information and a wonderful variety of sublimation supplies, I ordered both the heat press and their 3-in-1 mug press (it comes with 2 extra mug inserts - they have packages that will fit anyone's needs). A bonus I discovered was that, if I purchased $399 worth of supplies (not equipment), I got $200 off the 16x20 semi auto press. I paid only $499. We all need supplies, and their prices are as good as any, so that was a no-brainer. I highly recommend Ed, and check out t-shirtforums.com.

    • @donnaedwards1014

Because some of us can't afford to pay thousands of dollars for a heat press. And a lot of us are hobbyists and don't have businesses. Unless you have a LOT of disposable income, it doesn't make sense to pay high prices. When you add it all up: Sublimation printer + cutting machine + heat press + mug press = $$$$$. And when you're not investing in a business, it really doesn't make financial sense.
