Hi Great Review! I do have a question - does that doc support all monitors via DisplayLink - in most cases all market 4xMonitors working like (2 monitors are covered by Laptop Graphic card / 2 monitors are supported via DisplayLink). I'm looking for sth which allow me to kick all 4 monitors via DisplayLink tech and still be able to add one or two monitors - without any additional adapters. Thank you so much for your answer and support.
I just bought a wavelink thunderbolt 4 ThunderDock - Nova. Cannot get driver from Ivanti, no info for unit from Ivanti. it is like the support for Wavelink was dropped with the Name change.
Yep, it's really not setup for POE operation and will need a POE injector. In most cases you can handle this with your switch. Many of them offer POE ports as well as regular 1G ports in the same chassis.
I have 2 two laptops and one Ultrawide 49in samsung monitor, im wondering if this doc would make it easier to switch between laptops and with my peripherals linked to both laptops?
That's exactly what it's designed to do. You could simply leave all of your peripherals connected to the dock (monitor, webcam, hard drive, mic) and simply move the one USB-C cable between them to immediately connect to everything. It also allows you to extend your desktop to 4 monitors in total if you ever decide you want to add more screen area.
Thanks for the post and I'm a technologist at heart and interested in a ton more tech than just drones. If you've followed my channel for any length of time you'll find that I test and explain a lot of different gear. I'll have a few more drone videos this week, but if I post something that doesn't interest you, just stop back for the next clip,
Great review. Thanks. Will this work for my desktop as well to expand to 4 screens from just one?
Yes, you'll need to download and install the Displaylink driver (free) but I've used it with my laptop and a small Mini PC and it works great.

Needs a 56v barrel output for Starlink.

And it has to do with drones how?
