HillBilly is as real as it gets. has something he has to finish at his house first, then comes in to help out. What a man to have on your team, Robby. Family 1st is a helluva thing. Gotta admire it.
Nice job guys, even if it was white, lol. Good you loctited those bolts this time, if you left it much longer it could have caused some real expensive damage.
You might be wasting antifreeze filling up the overflow. The antifreeze expands when it gets hotter and runs out from the overflow. Or you may have a cracked head casket that is seeping into the engine, but I didn't see any tell-tale signs from the exhaust. Oh and the next time you guys go to Moab maybe ask Professor Rory for a class in unnecessary front digs!!!😂😂😂 thanks for another great video.
Jeeps are known for dumping excess coolant. Mine does it all the time and still don't overheat. It usually goes out the overflow canister. Double check all the oil ever change and none in it.
Nor here in Japan either. In fact, it is illegal to drive in slippery (ice and snow) conditions with summer tyres here in Japan. Some regions even require that snow chains are used also even if winter tyres are fitted.
Really enjoy your videos. Robby, just finished adjusting toe in on my JKU with my daughter assistant. The measurement/adjustment process was fun (not). You guys should have the FNG attempt this adjustment and share the video.
Owen, just a little suggestion. When going down a hill in slick terrain like that, pop the transmission in neutral when you’re fighting trying to slow down or stopping. You’ll be surprised how much this will help stay in control.
I live in Iowa and we have a gas station/ convenience store chain called Kum & Go and Mavericks just bought them last year, I think that Kum & Go has a few more stores than maverick has. No word on whether they will change the name yet.
Gotta say, Deja-blue is a great looking vehicle. I guess your challenge will be to paint it without going for perfection. "good enough" doesn't live in your vocabulary, it seems!
Next time, you need to drop the front cross member. Matt just unbolts the one on the banana from the frame and drops it down with the links still attached.
Colton has really come on in a presenting / videographer role. Really appreciate the context sections he adds.
He really has found his spot in the team as videographer and narrator.
His respectful way he carries himself, and treats everyone else is icing in that cake.
💯 agree Colton is GREAT
It's time for him to learn how to use a drone
Colton is awesome!👍🏼🤙🏼💪🏼

Seeing Deja Blue made me think how long it's been from seeing the Banana in action. Love both XJ's
For as many times that you do winter recoveries, I would think that you would have a snow brush/ice scraper in your recovery rig!
Shoot, they're luck to find the keys and keep gas in those vehicles! LOL
Great job from the whole crew.👍
Happy New Year to you, your crew and family Robby.
Sounds like a warranty claim to Matt!! LOL
That's a much you know about home made
@@lalitoojos it’s a joke
glad you add Owen to your videos
Great job, guys, & Demri too! I'm sure she was the in person moral support.
Glad to see you feeling better Robbie! We miss you when gone, and the guys did very well. Fun crew wish i gad a job that fuh
Good thing my Range Rover is green! I don't have to worry about you recovering me! 😀
Shout out to Owen as I don't think he gets much acknowledgement. Cool dude with a great attitude and humble too. 🤘
Was awesome seeing Colton with the Canada jacket, we do make great clothing for the cold weather. Thanks for sharing as always 😎🤟
"HEY, you can't park there, especially SLIDEways"😂🤣
Great job on the repairs and the recovery. Nice little stock Frontier, better tires are in order for those conditions. I'd love a job like yours.
Love the Red Chair!
You made the recovery look easy! Catch you on the next. ✌️ 😊
Great job guys. Thank you 😊
Nice job guys, even if it was white, lol. Good you loctited those bolts this time, if you left it much longer it could have caused some real expensive damage.
love coat as a proud Canadian thanks for support Colton
Deja Blue makes a lot fewer stupid noises now, good job on the maintenance!
Thank you Robby and crew for the adventure and seeing some nice recovery !
Matt's offroad recovery yellow on the back ! Good on you !
Great team work good recovery

Glad you finally got a straight forward recovery.❤
Here in Michigan, deer know it's car season.
Same here in NC!! Suicidal Deer!!
Short, glad you're feeling better.
Keep up with the good work Robby an team love watching your videos on RUclips God bless an happy new year from new Zealand
I can't tell you how many times I've been fishing up this canyon as a kid, fun to see it again!
Love Demri's monster chair that's awesome I'd use one if I can find it cheap.😊
as a Norwegian looking at those Tires, no one would ever drive on roads like that with those here in Norway
I bought chains for Forester. Not neded them, but better be prepared than sorry. Those Nissan tires loked like summer tires.
Nor here in Japan either. In fact, it is illegal to drive in slippery (ice and snow) conditions with summer tyres here in Japan. Some regions even require that snow chains are used also even if winter tyres are fitted.
I am from Sweden and I agree, but I still also belive that american snow is more slippery...😊
Wow, that chair. Demri is the chairwoman, the boss always has the biggest chair. 😊👍
I'm pretty sure that ole boy had to buy some new shorts after that ride. Great content guys 👏 thanks for sharing.
Deja Blue needs some paint on those rusty fender flares. Maybe yellow, to match the tailgate?
That recovery went pretty well all things considered.
Sounds like Matt's crew needs to learn about lock tight!
No surprise. The only surprise is to expect anything different.
Needs to learn about paint and a few other things.
Matt’s crew just needs to learn in general.
THANKS FOR ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO, EMILE FROM CT.
I have a white rubicon, I guess I need to come to Utah n get stuck 😂❤

Good vid, Colton. Glad you get to work on stuff.
G'day guys hope Christmas 🌲 new year was great fun 🎉❤😊
Love the crew they always do a great job and very entertaining
That's a Queens chair.❤❤
That's not a chair, it's a throne.
Awsome front digs😊
Nice work guys!
My mom & dad have hit 2 deer in the last 6 months in Georgia. Sheesh!!!!
Do they have a hunting permit….
Do they drive a white vehicle?
@Pablo17 😆 🤣 😂 Actually, it's a silver/grey.
I love Wells can't wait to go back !
Great video, keep them coming. I've been watching from the beginning... 🤘💪✌️
if you put it in Neutral when trying to stop while sliding it sure helps to control your front wheels, it takes the power from the front
Well done 👍🏼
Very nice Job Guys
Love the "Canada Weather Gear" Colton 🙂
Merry Christmas 🎉and Happy new year 🎉God bless you and your family and everyone there that works with you and tell them that from Tony witte 🎉🎉🎉
What no transmission jack? Oh, that is too easy, I guess.
I live in Iowa and we have a gas station/ convenience store chain called Kum & Go and Mavericks just bought them last year, I think that Kum & Go has a few more stores than maverick has. No word on whether they will change the name yet.
Absolutely do your maintenance.😮
Great video
Great recovery🤙😎
@Robby Layton
Great to see ya have a blessed new year for everyone over there an prepare for snow
driveshaft vibration will loosen those bolt real fast too. i figured out hard way and broke adapter before figureing out
Blue Loctite is your friend!
I think the Frontire needs some winter A/T tires. The look like highway tires.
so Robbie, when is the laymo making its first recovery? lol nice recovery job and merry new year to Layton nation
😢 good morning Roby laten from Medford Oregon 😀
That was a pretty cool video. Did you here anything on your stolen stuff dude?
Central California watching
You guy's better get Whiskers finished ✅️ ✔️ 👍 nice job
Pretty slick recovery (pun intended)😂
He did have skill. Perfectly parallel parks that puppy in the road.
Looks like a hold my beer moment.
Excellent video! What a great team! I hit a deer with no eyes. No ideer how it got there .
That AW4 trans is the best auto trans jeep ever made
Great video as always. Happy New Year Robbie and crew.
One thing I learned Owen was when you put it in neutral you have more control with your vehicle that way the motor is not trying to push your vehicle
I think Matt got to you, he got a good paint job, you got a junky jeep! 😂
great as always great content very entertaining good job
Smart idea, check everything over. Make sure everything's tightened up.
For the next job. So nothing breaks.
Any news on the aluminium parts that were stolen
back - driver tire low. on deja blue.
Great job again.
Like your Canada Mountain Gear Jacket.
The customer would have stuck around to finish the turn around EXCEPT his pants were full!
Blessed new year RLN from Brighton Beach, Durban, South Africa. 😎
Gotta say, Deja-blue is a great looking vehicle. I guess your challenge will be to paint it without going for perfection. "good enough" doesn't live in your vocabulary, it seems!
We just gotta dig!!
Deer season is only 3 to 4 months a year, unless in very rural AREAS....! Car season is all year round!!!!
Now that must have been the easiest recovery don't think that Matt done one so easy 😃
Well done Colton
That was a fun recovery
great video
Crick, maysure, ruff. American pronunciation Gets me every time 😆
Colton put your seatbelt on lol.
😂 Yep, now that's a necessary front dig!
Driving in snow like that, you put the truck in 4-low and the trans in 2. This allows the truck to crawl down the slick, slippery snow w/o sliding.
Blue Loctite blue Loctite, not the red, noooooo 🤣🤣
Next time, you need to drop the front cross member. Matt just unbolts the one on the banana from the frame and drops it down with the links still attached.
Where's the Bronc Star? Being a Ford is it up on blocks in Hill Billy's front Yard?
Robby looks like he could still do with a day or two to recover.
