      That would be so funny. I have a friend who l can't let drive me. He puts the car in neutral at the lights, sits there til they're actually green, thinks about it, puts it in gear and 'roars' into action at about 2kph. Sometimes he doesn't even notice they've changed. Feels as though it takes an eternity to cross each set of lights. By the time we've done 2 or 3 sets l just want to beat him to death with my shoe. Icing on the cake, he's actually amazed when people toot at him. Been doing it for the 20+ years I've known him. Absolutely no clue.

    • @julesverneinoz
      @julesverneinoz Год назад +1

      @@nikiTricoteuse Hahaha, I have seen a car like that once. I had to laugh because I found it so weird. At that time the road was relatively empty and I drive in a relaxed manner when there were not many cars around. I try to drive in a way that I don't rev and don't brake unless I need to, just cruise all the way and let inertia slows down the car.
      I went on the road when this car suddenly zoomed past me, making that slipping engine belt sound, but then had to stop at the traffic light 500 metres away. Meanwhile, I slowly increased my speed and timed it so that the light will be back to green by the time I got there. I drove past that car without hitting the brakes through the traffic light, expecting to see his car rev and hear that 'slipping belt' sound again but I was puzzled when that car didn't move long after the traffic light went back to green.
      Anyway, eventually took my mind off it as it became smaller in my rear mirror and went on my way when it suddenly zoomed past me again. I eventually lost him but as I laughed at this weird behaviour I thought, "Ah well, he can probably afford the petrol and repairs." Now I know that this delayed start at the traffic light might've been because he didn't notice the change.

    • @nikiTricoteuse
      @nikiTricoteuse Год назад +1

      @@julesverneinoz l drive a lot like you in some ways and am "gentle" on the brakes, like my father taught me. I also get enormous satisfaction from timing the lights just right BUT l am 100% focused on driving and if l have stopped, the second the lights go green I'm ready to go, after l've checked the cross traffic has actually stopped, of course! It amazes and infuriates me how distracted some drivers are. I feel like yelling at them "YOU HAVE ONE JOB!" 😁 The driver you're describing sounds like a typically aggressive driver who wants to be first at all costs and is happy to trash their car to do it not realising that a little more attention and a little more skill would be much better.

      @John LEON We're the best, about to win our 18th F1 World Driver's Championship with our 10th different driver. Next best is Germany, 12 championships with 3 drivers. No other country has more than 3 different drivers that have won a World title so they can't be that good at driving !

    Comedians really need the set the challenge bar higher such as this talented man and try to come up with comedic material that contains less swearing and controversial opinions.

      Australia? Coz I've never seen it done here. Ppl only put hazards on here if they've broken down or they're silly enough to park in a bad spot & hope the hazards will alert ppl to them.

    I lived in western Washington State and have a lot of experience with windshield wipers. Before going through the intermittent wiper challenge, there is the no wiper challenge. This involves seeing how long you can wait to even turn them on at all. Now that I live in Florida, it’s zero to high in a couple of seconds. No need for intermittent wipers here!

    So funny. I still laugh when there is an obstruction on the other side of the road with a queue for miles and after the end of the queue you pity those driving towards it unaware! That was one of MM's observations!
