I agree, Kyle, and I have been a fan of Nascar for over 48 years. I was like, wtf just some more bs from this new Nascar Era. I even turned the channel, and this is supposed to be their best rave. Thank you, Kyle, for telling the truth.

I want NASCAR to go back to what it was. The only rule should be regarding the safety features of roll bars. Seats. Restraints. Etc. If it's a Ford it has to be a Ford motor. At least 80% of the car must be original to the car. It worked for decades in the past
Ok what you are asking for in someways is reasonable but it mostly isnt due to the fact that:
1. The racing at daytona wasnt because the cars arent stock if they were they would be all spread out and it would be more boring
2. The reason why nascars are so different from road cars or your average ford mustang is because they have safety that will keep a driver safe through 20 flips in the air we cant just get rid of that
@@Carlovingbozo8 Gotcha. If you noticed I did mention roll cages and safety. I still would rather have them get rid of the restrictor plate. All that appeared to do was pack them all together. And bring around a new phrase. “Waiting for the big one” That's really boring. Taking 3 or 13 cars out in a 1/4 lap.
@josephpelayo3885 your number one reason makes no sense....the race was more exciting before....waiting for half the field to get wasted isn't exciting

I watched NASCAR alot when Earnhardt was alive. I still watched bc of Dale Jr also once Sr passed but now, ill watch a Talladega and Daytona race if im bored.
that was the first race I saw in person, but the excitement I got from the beginning of the Daytona 500 anyway was still awesome to me

I moved to Daytona at 17yr old in 1975 & LOVED NASCAR racing all the way up until they outlawed the confederate flag, that was the beginning of the end.
They did the same thing this past weekend at Daytona, and they call that racing. 🤣😂🤣

That’s nascars fault tho. They made it where fuel takes longer than tires. So your waiting on fuel. They didn’t save fuel to save a stop. They saved to spend less time on pit road. If nascar goes back to the original way of fueling. It would fix the issue. Instead nascar wants to start lowering the amount of off throttle time. The nascar higher ups are so stupid it’s insane. They want to make everything more complex and complicated for no reason

They could have, but every driver had to save fuel because they moved to a smaller fuel tank this year!

Not a Kyle Busch fan but I wholeheartedly agree with this issue. NASCAR is taking the fun out of this. I guess real racing is not PC.
Exactly what he said, is what it looked like on TV. It's a race not a train ride. If the car blows up or fails mechanically then to bad , but please race , stab don't tickle (GLORY).
You’re 100% right I will never watch the Daytona 500 going those speeds. Do the same thing again I’ll catch it right at the beginning and I’m switching channels. That ain’t racing.
Listened to my first race in 1962. This was the worst 500 I've ever seen.

It's racing, fuel mileage doesn't exist, only thing you need to worry about is running out of gas and how to prevent that. Keep that foot on the floor

pack racing is the best thing ever. Forcing drivers to be stuck in the pack unable to make moves is the problem
