A square pyramid , base 40mm side and axis 65mm long, has its base in the V.P. One edge of the base is inclined at 30 degrees to the H.P. and a corner contained by that edge is on the H.P. Draw its projection.

Sir in your previous video you told that if face of solid is resting on HP then we will make it stand on HP and take the top view but in this question though the rectangular face was resting on HP you took the front view.....can you please explain this....🙏🙏

Sir according to question rectangular face is resting on hp means its lying on hp.. So i think we have to assume its standing on hp according to your previous video of theory lecture...
But if do so the concept of front view and top view will change because top view is above the xy line right ? That's why

Sir,there is a doubt... In the last lecture of projection of solid u said that if a face of a prism resting on the HP then we assume that first its base is resting on HP ...but in this lecture u r not following that rule
Yes , my tutor has also said that if Base of Solid is resting in HP then we first draw the TV on HP

Sir in the first introduction video you told that when a rectangular face is resting on the plane it should be made such that it's true shape is visible in the top view but you didn't made it stand on the horizontal plane and now the front view is looking like top view
Can be make true shape, 1st step below the XY line, in HP i.e. Top view
& Followed, one Pentagonal edge parallel to xy line
