      Naco I've had pheasants for years. The best way is to hold the bird between your knees and use your hand to brace the exit side where the pin will come out. That way it's solid and the pin goes through smoothly. First of all put all your pins through the same side of your blinder so you have the same pattern for each bird. Right to left or which ever way it works best for you . I'm right handed so I start the pins all on the right side of the blinder. That works best for me. When I say right side that's with the bird between my knees facing away from me...

    From Indonesia: I have a small pheasant farm near my house. The peasants are in the cage 2x4 meters with ceiling 3 meters. Every cage has 1 male and 2 female pheasants. The problem is 50% of the eggs are pecked by them. The Second problem is they always put the eggs elsewhere outside the nests I put. Well, do you have any advice? Thanks.

    Pheasant season starts in California on November 9th. Seems unfair. Bag limit is two male birds a day and this guy has thousands of birds. If you should complain about hunting, what do you think is going to happen to those thousands of birds on the pheasant farm?

    • @JordansHarvest
      @JordansHarvest  5 лет назад

      Most of these birds go to controlled shooting areas. That allows the hunters to males and females with no limits! It can be quite expensive though

    • @wilhard45
      @wilhard45 5 лет назад

      Jordans Harvest -- Thanks. I don't like the controlled sitting areas. It just seems too easy. Of course all I do is walk out of the house, across the dirt road and I am hunting. Just the cost of shotgun shells and the license. Well to each his own.
