I made this tune with the 11.5 afr for my flame tune and the flames were crazyyyy. My car was shooting flames with the stock tune but with this tune it was a flame thrower Good video per usual my guy I've learned so much from you and made my car so much faster from your videos
Will you do a versatuner tube for a turbo RX-8 with the gt35 turbo, exhaust out the hood, with 1300 cc injectors for the primary secondary 1000 cc injectors 255lph brushless, it's a fully and freshly rebuilt motor it also is Bridgeported . And has the oversized bolt all 16 tension bolts. But please please pretty please
just thank you, very interesting video ^ - ^ on the other hand on my versatuner, the air fuel ratio is between 0 and 1, and not 7.35 and 14.7, it's surprising, isn't it?
Thanks to your videos, I managed to tune my car for some basic braaaps. Will there be any new VersaTune videos? I'd like to know how to change the numbers on AFR tables? Your show the ratio 14,7 and my shows lambda value of 1. I have a 4-port 2005. I would appreciate if you have any tips on tuning it properly for a bridgeport. Keep up the good work.
It's in settings for versatuner. I got just 2 other videos planned for versatuner. 1. Will be the latest tune i use currently before i will switch my ecu to adaptronic. 2. Is still in work but could be awesome if it works out. Depends on what you need help with on the Bridgeport.
@@Snow1998v1 I don't know if I should make the mixture more rich because of the added air intake. And which parameters make the engine braap. As far as I tested... The only way that my idle braps is if SSV and VDI are open all the time ,and then I also disable all knock values so it doesnt correct itself and the timing.
@@TryThisThing Read/log you lambda while accelerating in 2nd gear if your lambda is 12-12,6 above 4000rpm everything good, if lower bad, if higher also bad. The engine braps by itself if its bridgeported with port overlap if you don't have overlapping ports it doesn't brap. your idle should be around 1500-1600 rpm thats it if you hear no brap then software won't change that?
@@Snow1998v1 Somehow it does. Mainly if I make my SSV and VDI open from 100 rpm on. You can listen to it on my channel. But whenever I reflash it with stock values the engine wont brap. I have bridgeport on all 4 ports.
Hey, I've followed this guide, and have noticed if I let off the throttle above 5K RPM and slightly depress the clutch I get pops and bangs. I don't think I am disengaging the clutch, only pressing it enough to trigger the clutch pedal position sensor, I think. What causes this to happen, is it safe to do it? It sounds pretty awesome, and you have benefit of not retarding the timing at all, and can choose when the pops and bangs happen.
The retarded timing makes the bangs a lil louder. Also it has no bad effect lile you said the paddle sensor gets triggered the fueling resumes to "Idle condition" and since you do not have any gas applied and the timing goes to the idle timing you get pops and bangs. You need to retard the idle timing table for the bangs to get louder instead of the normal spark map. You should also do logging this way you see what happens if you do that
@@Snow1998v1 Will do that, I could see the clutch pedal position switching from 0 to 1 when the pops started to happen, but wanted to confirm it wasn't causing any harm. Thanks for replying so fast.
The afr doesn't change the ecu still calculates it exactly right like the map says. The only thing would be that if you have bigger ports you have more air and more exhaust volume so you could test if enriching the area of low load would yield bigger flames.
@@DesolateKZ needs testing you should first try it like the map in video if you have little flames add fuel if you have big flames good and no flames means you don't have enough fuel wich normally never happens in a rotary 😂
I’m still between mazdaedit or versa tuner Right now. I got mazdaedit tune on the car that came with the car when I got. But I wanna to grab the full software of one of them but still debating.
Well i don't know much about MazdaEdit but for versatuner i can tell you it's great very userfriendly and has a simple interface. Both Softwares do a good job but MazdaEdit isn't so userfriendly and the interface looks kinda old in my opinion so i went for versatuner. I do be tuning my car since late 2019 with that and never had any issues also the versatuner community always tries to help you out if you got trouble or issues. So usually if someone asks me what i recommend for tuning i always say Verasatuner. So if you wanted a recommendation then there you go.

At this point you should already got the info u are looking for but, for some reason you are seeing the fuel mixture in lambda not AFR, just a different scale, get a conversion table and you will be able to see what lambda matches to a certain AFR…
Hey mate, there is a dedicated video on my channel for afr tuning. And you guessed wrong :) it's a rotary they don't like lean afrs that much due to the fact that the fuel is not only cooling the combustion temp its also lubricating the engine to a certain degree.
