Let My Prayer Arise (Да исправится молитва моя) from the Irmologion of Suprasl

The hymn, sung by the Choir of the Moscow Patriarchate, comes from the Suprasl Irmologion, a manuscript written in the years 1598-1601 in the Suprasl Monastery (en.wikipedia.or...) containing music of exceptional beauty, comparable to the best compositions of that age (you can read more about it in English here: www.onisimowicz.... The photograph depicts the Church of the Annunciation in the courtyard of the monastery. It was built in the years 1503-1511 and destroyed in 1944 by the German army. It is being rebuilt since 1985.
