That match is bad! But there might be a degree of correction for the talent in the ring, like grading on a curve, for a match between someone who was never a wrestler and someone who was predominantly a non-wrestling wrestling talent.
I remember ironically enjoying this match when it aired, gave me a good laugh when it happened. Damien Priest shooting the arrow to reveal the Army of the Dead logo as Miz was being eaten by zombies was the cherry on top for me

What gets me is that there was pretty much ZERO buildup to it being freaking zombies before the PPV. That came out of freaking nowhere and it didn’t fit the story either.
LUKE: I really remember thinking the line Priest had on Raw about zombies and aliens was a joke.
Batista had a movie coming out on Netflix. We gotta promote a guy who doesn't work here's movie somehow.
Looking forward to next week's. These first two have had some okay performers doing a wrestle, but Jenna vs Sharmell is a masterclass in wrestling perfection. :-)
I think this so is gonna turn into a Bruno level title reign next week and I am looking forward to it

A match that comes to mind is John Lauranitus (idk how to spell his name lol) vs John Cena. It was shocking that CM Punk who was WWE champion didn’t main event a ppv for whatever that was.
It’s a shame of all the matches for The Miz to get injured in, it had to be the crappy zombie match.
15 years straight in WWE without an injury (he suffered a concussion at WM 27 but it didn’t take him off TV). And the streak had to end in the stupid zombie match.
Alright.... Sometimes you just want to see CHAOS.... So yall should do Matt Cardona vs Tyrus Vs Trevor Murdoch at Hard Times 3
I'm sure they're in there already, but the Electrified Steel Cage match and the Blindfold match from that one TNA Lockdown show are both just awful.
I loved that OSW review video, both matches are priceless
Nothing beats 2007 TNA for not just wasting genuinely world class talent, but actively impeding it.
Never seen this match....still wish I never seen this match. Great episode nonetheless. Should put Bayley v. Alexa Bliss Kendo Stick on a Pole Match from WWE Extreme Rules 2017 as a choice. That's an example of how to completely destroy a character in 10ish minutes.

when looking for the worst match is it being determined by in ring quality or the damage it did to a wrestler’s character because I suggest Bayley vs Bliss at Extreme Rules 2017 in the infamous Kendo Stick on a Pole match…it’s genuinely heartbreaking
That match was so infuriating as an NXT Bayley fan. That was the textbook example of character assassination, and the mere fact that Bayley is still around, let alone being really successful with her new character speaks volumes to her ability as a complete pro wrestler
That match makes me SO angry.
They took the greatest baby face character they had in years and killed it.
Is The House of Horrors match between Randy Orton vs Bray Wyatt in the box? That one was just really bad!

Ok suggestion: John Cena vs Michael Cole, WWE RAW 4th June 2012.
Just a completely pointless match. And it features the frustrating trope of WWE not understanding what a babyface is/John Cena being a jackass.
Wonderful as always lads. Week two of suggesting Hogan vs Piper from Halloween Havoc 97. Idk if Pete and Tempest have seen it and watching reactions to it would be priceless.

the Great Antonio vs Inoki would have to be placed in the box for the fact it was brutal and went off script far too fast and it is just terrible. sadly a few Inoki matches could be in that box just because. the show is fantastic keep it going!

I’m glad Luke brought up the third resident evil movie because I went down the shitty rabbit hole with a friend and watched all of the movie and felt like wrestling fans before the Triple H era

Me and buddy were at a baseball game this day. We got back to my place and i put on Backlash and this match was on. I was legit confused about what was going on but my buddy refused to believe i didn't know it was going to happen.
I've never seen Sharmell vs. Jenna and I'm kinda excited to watch it for the first time next week. I've heard so many bad things about this match lol

A little thought could have gone a long way…. Fewer zombies running free could have been fun. Avoid the zombies while running the match. Involve zombies in big spots. Then have all wrestlers & ref having to join forces & execute the zombies in some fashion…. Could have been one of those random great camp matches…
I marked out in FEAR when I saw what's coming up next week. It's the same feeling I get with "How Did This Get Made?"

Loved your reactions to this match guys 😄 I honestly got a laugh out of it. I didn't see the match itself until I'd bought the dvd months later...which is weird because I had the network at the time (still do, but I don't use it that often outside of pay-per-views I want to watch like the last 2 we've just had)...but I just remember finding an ironic bit of humor from the match when I first watched it, simply because of how stupid it was. I got more of a laugh now though seeing you picking out and spotting current NXT wrestlers disguised as zombies.
That next episode looks like it will be a an all time great show😂😂

I couldn’t watch COVID wrestling. The screens. The quiet. It was terrible. But this. This has to be the cream on top. Cause it just plain awful. But. That glow in the dark match with Bray. Mmmmmmm = .

I think either the Ready to Rumble triple cage match or the human torch match with sting and vampiro should be in the box.

The thing that makes the zombies match so bad for me is the fact that WWE has no idea how to do product placement. It's so overt, hammy, and in your face that the product distraction becomes annoying (see also Mtn Dew Pitch Black Match and the Survivor Series Pizza Hut battle royale). You know who did good product placement? The original run of Charmed, from 1998-2006. Every season was sponsored in part by Jeep and one of their cars appeared nearly every week, but the show didn't stop the plot for an ad.

If Heroes of Wrestling isn't in that box, it needs to go in there now. "Which match from that show though?"...Yes. Just...yes (only TWO of the matches on that show had positive ratings, the highest of which was one and a quarter stars).
To pick specific matches though, Bushwhackers VS Sheik & Volkoff, Abdullah VS One Man Gang, and Neidhart & Bundy VS Yokozuna & Jake Roberts are low-lights (though that last one is more of a Sad Bad match as opposed to funny, though I guess it could fit if Sting/Hardy is in the box as well)
I'm loving this series. Keep it up.
