I still like Bill Snyder as a coach more than Saban. Saban is a great coach but I felt that he had the most talented or one of the most talented teams cuz of recruiting and I feel like Snyder developed players more and took the worst team in college football history and put them in the top echelon of college football. I do think Saban is a great coach and wud be up there for me but I've always loved Snyder
You can recruit great talent and it’ll help a lot Butch Jones was a spectacular recruiter at Tennessee. Where’d that get him? Orgeron’s ability as a recruiter landed him the QB that won him a natty. What did he do outside of that? You have to marry great recruiting with great coaching, and guys like Saban, Smart, and in the past Dabo (but I think his stubbornness with the portal is becoming his downfall) have been able to do that
I noticed you said “When you were a football coach” why aren’t you coaching football anymore? I was thinking about getting into the field and I just wanted to know what happened to lead you to stop coaching?

Recruiting is the most important part of college coaching.
That's what makes Saban the GOAT

I got burnt out and realized how much time I was spending at the school and not with my family.
@@CoachMcKie ohh man, well did you like the field of coaching? I wish you the best in whatever you decide to do
Yeah I loved coaching...teaching...not so much.
@@CoachMcKie thanks for the response 🙏🏾
As a Wolfe who has been coaching football I have a different answer - after 55 years still coaching and loving it!!
