It's something folks get used to doing in the U.S. It's kind of entertaining to listen to someone speak Vietnamese or Spanish or Romanian and suddenly they say, "Ok," or "Yeah," . . . I'm thrilled I understood Something, lol. I suppose certain terms just catch on. My language is English and I have to say . . . it makes me sad when people who speak English primarily Butcher the language . . . especially when someone who speaks Another language primarily corrects them! I die a little inside.
