I just started building this exact pc, I’m super excited I just installed my motherboard today and I’m waiting for the gpu and power supply to arrive
I wish i could come to all the streams, ive missed a lot of good ones. I downloaded pulseway and its pretty cool, not that i have any need or use for it lol. Great vid, love that pic of you in the elevator with the other tubers and your way taller then them lol

@@ZachsTechTurf It is squads, but there is a no fill option. That's what I do when I am testing a system. Usually get a few kills from other solos, and even took down a team with a sniper rifle once.
Good build man. Im building my first pc in a few months and this is probably the best video i have watched so far but im going to go for the 2070 super and get a cpu cooler as i will be overclocking

Nice builds, btw i really like your commentairy benchmark style ngl it adds more spice to your videos,not juat some boring numbers with random gamplays on the background. And for the COD thing i agree with you warzone nowadays is just a pain in the ass ma man, and for all of you, if you wanna know the warzone equivalent fps, just 10 to 15 fps lower difference overall if you compare it to modern warfare. Nevertheless goodjob 👍👍

FINALLY the perfect confirmation that I need a 2070 or 2080 for my GPU. My build is near identical (except I got a great deal on 2x16 gb of ram for 117)

Awesome video, as always. I’ve noticed you are promoting your build streams more often. Just want to let you know that as somebody new to streaming I don’t understand how to watch them. I’ve seen videos scheduled here but I click them and the video doesn’t play.
I guess that’s because you host them on Twitch but you might consider trying to make it more clear how to tune in. I’ve seen a few other people sitting in the RUclips lobby also confused.

I would have liked if for the benchmarks you showed 1080p too because I never game on 1440p because of fps. Good video tho.
I think you should continue the new benchmarking style at least for a few games. I enjoy the section way more now because it way more entertaining.

Hey Zach, quick question, I want to build my first gaming PC now, but I’ve been told I should wait a bit longer due to the speculation that next gen GPUs are coming out next month. Should I wait or just go ahead and build my PC?
Wait because newer gpu’s will be more powerful and the rtx 2000 series will be much cheaper
Well it's not speculation, they definitely are. If you are anxiously waiting to jump into the world of PC gaming then I would just build now. If you can hold off for a bit then I would wait. Only you can answer that.

I did a very similar build with the same processor/ GPU and the prices are about the same. I did this build less than a month ago.

Zach's Tech Turf It runs like a champ. It’s my first AMD build. A month ago I didn’t know anything about AMD. I’ve been using and building budget intel builds with 4 to 5 year old CPUs. I wasn’t sure if this hobby was for me and I’ve come to find out it’s a passion. It’s absolutely mentally satisfying to build my own and to watch others build such as yourself. My work, school and productivity PC has the Intel 4790k paired with an 8gb GPU. My previous gaming rig had the intel 3770k paired with the same GPU as my AMD. I could tell the difference between quality and the new AMD build is much better. My current endeavors involve making custom DIY enclosures for my Ryzen 2600 build.
You need to sell that 2080 right now and buy a 30 series instead

I have a question. Are three intake fans and one exhaust fan enough airflow for the 2080 super? Because I’m probably gonna upgrade to a 2080 super and I only have room for three intake fans and one exhaust fan
I need help with my pc guys.
So I have an AIO fan and I need help as where I should install it.
Should I install as an exhaust on the top (of the case) and make the back fan also exhaust and make my 3 front fan intake?
OR
Should I make my top 2 fans and 1 back fan exhaust and make the front 2 fan AIO with the other front fan as intake?
Hope it makes senses. What should I do? I could really use you guys help on this.

After two months has passed. People who have built this PC is regretting 100%. We got the ryzen 5600x and rtx 3070 build for $1500 November , 2020. The specs difference between this build and the ryzen 5600x w rtx 3070 is pretty big.

Zach may I ask why you can't stand warzone anymore?
It's just too tough to get kills and record it for someone of my skill level. Much faster and efficient to record a multiplayer match where I can rack up the kills.

Love that Purebase 500 case! I have one myself. Dream to build in. Also, for anyone thinking of building, DO NOT buy any of the expensive GPUs (5700 XT, RTX 2060 Super or higher). NVIDIA will launch their high end 3000 GPUs soon and prices will likely drop quickly for the high end 2000 series cards (no change on the low end, build away!).
I hope I'll be able to retire my 970 soon and get a 2060s or 5700xt on sale. Hopefully the graphics cards on the used market drop as well.
I wouldn't say DON'T build rn. If there's someone that's been anxious to get into PC gaming for the first time I wouldn't recommend waiting. They'll still be perfectly happy with a new system built today.
