Hmm, Dan's cheesie sauce sounds delicious! Lmao! Seriously though, I'd use that cheesie sauce for vegan nachos with refried beans, rice, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, and some red/green chili sauce. Yum!
I don't understand how anyone can eat tofu and think it tastes like eggs. I've tried just about every tofu scramble recipe I've found and they just taste gross -_- Plus as someone who's never liked runny eggs this looks gross to me. I'm sure some people would like it but eh...
Hmmm...I don't know how to feel about this. I don't really like tofu on it's own, but I would say maybe sprinklin' black Hawaiian (or Eurasian) salt on top so it tastes more sulfuric?
For me as an Asian, it’s just like fried tofu with some kind of sauce. I don’t like it how people trying to give the tofu another name just because they put a lil bit black salt on it and then call it egg...🤯 can we just appreciate the tofu as it is???
Sounds like a great recipe but why is it that people who make RUclips videos feel the need to play bad club music in the background? You can't hear the instruction very well and it's really distracting.
It's more likely to attract someone turned off by hearing "Injected yeast sauce". It may get someone to eat healthier and possibly become vegan. Plus, they are re-making the cookbook, so re-naming it would ruin the point they are trying to make.
They're being insincere. If vegans are turned off by the thought of ingesting animal protein don't call it vegan meat, dairy, chicken, or eggs. I hate eating shit, and I would never eat a vegan version of shit.
Yes I do. It's called being pretentious. If you actually believe it's bad, you wouldn't call another object the same name. They know they;re craving "eggs," that's why they're pretending soybean curd with a yeast sauce is an egg.
EH CBunny I believe animal use is bad and I eat vegan "chicken", "shrimp", etc. I also believe that cannibalism is bad even though I'll eat a gingerbread "man". I also read murder novels and shoot people in video games despite being against real murder. The difference is that soy meats, gingerbread men, and video games aren't real harm to sentient beings. People don't eat soy meats with those names because they like the idea of eating animals, but because they're trying to describe what something tastes like. I eat soy chicken and I don't even remember what actual chicken flesh tastes like. I eat vegan shrimp and I hated the taste of real shrimp when I was a non-vegan. So, no. I'm not craving the non-vegan versions. I'm repulsed at the idea of eating them. It's about ethics, not taste. I'm against animal exploitation, not a taste or texture.

yes!! This was amazing! There is so much variety and creativity in a vegan diet - I love it!
thank you! love to see more from the Shannon's.
Amazing recipe!! Great work!!

+Faylina Meir I don't know if it's just me today but I agree, I felt nauseous imagining eating it and I am a very adventurous eater. Vegan too.
This could have been Very interesting... But Dan's audio is weak and somewhat muffled... Have No idea what ALL the ingredients were....
The recipe is up on our website (everydaydish (dot) tv)

I love the idea of making loved recipes vegan. Cheese sauce looks good. injecting it kinda silly .
So fun! I love to veganize everything. Who wants to eat a sad little bird's period???
I would add some Indian Black (sulfur) Salt to the "yoke".
I want to eat a bird's unfertilised placenta. It's full of good stuff.
Nice recipe, but what's with the music?....haha, feels like I'm at some kind of strange cooking rave.......
Thanks for the recipe.
Very clever recipe xxx
Too elaborate for me . I'll stick to scrambled tofu. I was debating ordering this book. Does anyone know if it worth it.
+Cat D same here

Audio is bad
yeah my headphones made it sound even weirder lol
That doesn't look like three and a half cups of water
Margarine??!!!!
butter
*vegan butter
Why do you have very repetitive music (noise) playing while you're talking?? It's so annoying I couldn't even focus on what you were saying!
Why not call it tofu injected with a sauce of yeast? Isn't that appealing to vegans over pretending it's fried eggs?

EH CBunny You make no sense at all. Keep thinking about yourself and don't try to understand anyone else.

Its literally easier to Raise chickens and eat the eggs they lay.
Pasture them, feed em, eat em.
liquid smoke? wtf
these peple are a joke. People who don't know how to cook should not try to teach.
