Using a black wire for anything other than a ground is a tell-tale sign someone's either a hack, or just MacGuyver-ing shit with what they have.

Black wire is used for switched power, Brown wire is used for ground

I used a ford solenoid to cut off the battery for parking my rig in the woods for days going hiking. If you don't know there is a switch or where it is you would never get it started.
I would suggest spraying the color of the engine bay to something other than black when the new engine goes back in. Aside from the looks, it should help to see leaks and contrast with the new lines and wiring.

Your fuel line return start on the regulator, going down from AN8 to AN6 before the regulator is a big no no, as it will have a hard time controlling the pressure correctly. The return starts on the return outlet on the regulator not on the fuel rail. You can do AN6 on the return from the regulator but you have to keep the AN8 all the way to the regulator (if you want to run AN8). If the regulator does not have minimum ORB8 then you need a bigger regulator, if you want propper fuel pressure handling :)
If my car caught on fire, blew up a turbo and blew a brand new engine then i wouldve just skipped the whole season to touch everything on the car... Cutting corners just to rush driving is not it!

yeah black being a hot wire comes from wiring houses, the black is hot and the white is ground. but in automotive, this is DEF no the case!

Yeah I'm pretty sure Sam mentioned in a previous video that the wiring was done by someone prior to Daiki owning the car. Maybe he was trying to spare him the shame lol. It happens. We all have to learn somehow. Trial and error is the only way for some. Glad they're getting Daiki's car sorted so he can shred safely. Also huge shout-out to Okachan. What a legend.

Love it !!! This will be a good reset point for Daiki and make it easier to troubleshoot any issues going forward. How that car has managed to not blow up till now is beyond me with that Yakisoba wiring. Sam and his OCD was probably going nuts taking that stuff out and seeing just how bad it was.
