Oh this is fascinating stuff. Congrats on getting it on your first live attempt! Usually glitches like this trigger when you're at the very top of the screen, but it seems you still could have gone a fair amount higher before reaching the top. I'm curious why exactly it would trigger the boss door then..

Haha thank you! Yeah I'm not sure *why* it triggers, more that I just know *how* to trigger it occasionally. I believe this saves time on every level but for one, so if someone could get this reliably they could take a few seconds off a pretty optimized WR!
Maybe that person will be me... who knows? :D

@@superhc0 Yeah I'm currently pushing buttons to see if I can get it to happen when I don't isolate with save states. So far... no luck. It might take a more skilled player than myself to pull it off!
