I forgot to tell you how I resolved it definitively. Basically I opened the xbox 360, and with only the motherboard I cleaned it with alcohol and with a brush. With the brush I deeply cleaned all the components, using a little force with the brush under the cpu and various components. Then I took a very normal hair dryer and at most I aimed all the heat jet on the CPU for at least 15 minutes. Then for another 15 minutes I ran the hair dryer all over the back side of the motherboard (I recommend the hair dryer be as close to the motherboard as possible). After, I again spent 5/10 minutes the hair dryer on the front of the motherboard pointing all the components. Lastly, I passed again with ethyl alcohol in depth on the components.

Most likely HDIM since it does not connect to it or something because I turn it on then it turns red in the middle with a red circle red ring of death but we clean it add new cooling past or something I forgot then after we clean it it showed red ring of death cooling ? Or HDIM
This is NOT a proper way of fixing it, You need to replace the XCGPU however, at the very least a reflow/reball will get it working for a much much longer rate for hopefully a few months possibly forever depending if its a cold solder joint or a faulty xcgpu. Unleaded solder melts at 218 degrees Celsius, heating it up with a towel can get it to like 60 degrees Celsius this is not hot enough to melt the balls all you did was make the balls stress and expand which is why it works for a little bit but a lot of consoles the issue is within the xcgpu NOT the solder balls.
Hi. Thanks for the video. It works because insulating the coolant with a cloth causes the processor temperature to rise. The purpose is to overheat the processor. The processor overheating is recommended for all electronic devices.

I didn’t take it apart but I wrapped it up in a coat and it worked just as well can’t believe it actually worked!

umm ... they told me that doing this method resolve the problem. We don't understand the problem well, becuase there are people who say that you have to change thermal paste (it didn't work for me), or change the ram, or change the processor. fact I think it is the fault of the Ram and not the processor, because otherwise it wouldn't work anyway if the processor is broken

no, I just tried to reason
From what iv picked up Microsoft solder the processor and so on to the mother board rather than embed them. So when the Xbox over heats a lot over time the soldering melts and they become disconnected. Putting a blank/towel over it like in the vid has a chance to melt said soldering again and reaffirming the connection.
My 360 s got the red dot of death and it turned back on perfectly but the main problem is it deleted all of my data that was saved to the console can anyone help with this issue I think I can just copy the stuff on the Internal hard drive and then put it onto another internal hard drive but I’m still not to sure what to do please if anyone can help tell me
How did you fix yours or did it fix by itself

@@diegomartinez2777 Red dots of death are caused by errors I think. If you don’t have a hard drive it means the error is caused by something else. I think this video is for that.

Its supposed to be easy for some reasons, but you can get tutorials on how to open your xbox like dude did on yt, still havent try but i guess it could work, i tried everything execpt for this

@@VainDreamerGaming overheating a system is not a fix, not a repair it's a bandaid at best. A dirty one that fell on the ground before being applied. Take 2 minutes out of your day to do some research on this dipshits idea and you will see it's wrong.
