Honestly colorguard has rlly changed my life. It’s apart of me & I don’t want to stop doing it I love it. This is my first year doing colorguard & I had to take some risks that I’ve never did & I got to try some things that I’ve never did before. Being part of the marching band is like a family & yes band camp might be exhausting but it’s worth it❤️

This is my 5th year in winterguard and have completed 2 years of marching band as well. Guard will only get better for. I as well love the family and comradery that we all bring to the table. Stick with it girl. #guardthings
I loved it, too, but it is not my path. While joining was one of my best decisions, leaving was also one of my best decisions. I can truly say I'm thriving now in my senior year without it :D.

@@coopsxo5877 it’s definitely a learning experience! It’s not too bad if they teach you right the first time (I had 2 teachers this year one didn’t really teach us anything and the other teaches us the safe and proper way)
Colorguard has changed my life. And I am so happy that I chose to join. And this video inspires me so much. Although it is my first year in colorguard I am happy and waiting to do it next year. ❤️😁

I think the name originated from members of the military who were responsible for holding the flags, essentially guarding the colors of their country, thus the name “color guard”.
