Careful with those OBD-2 heads up displays, customer came in to our shop once with a brand new car and his car had one installed, drained the battery twice, first one we replaced under warranty since it's a new car. He came in again with the same concern, charged him for a diagnosis and turns out that OBD-2 HUD was draining his battery even tho the product claimed it wouldn't. He spent over $400 that day.

We have that type on the box trucks where I work, they're super awesome. The trucks come with a rear view mirror that just looks at the box behind the cab, so useless and lame!
@@ssgrgohan8254 when you order, it's usually paired with two cords. the power cord and the camera feed cord. each about 10-13 feet. you have to run both cords along the plastic and fabric molds on the inside of the car so they don't look cheap and exposed. it's not a lot of cord, they just run a little long in length so that there is enough of it to hide on the inside of your car. it isn't a hard job and the end product is worth it. it's just a little time consuming. it is not a 5 minute or even 10 minute job but you save yourself a court battle if someone hits you because the camera is always recording front and back. you can also turn the digital screen off to use the actual mirror and it'll continue to record. don't worry about the install process. once your done with it, you will never look back.
I want something that records my car from the sky everywhere i go..and when i get out of the car in swagger mode, it zooms in and takes a panaromic angle video of me and my car continuously until it slowly zooms in my face and uploads the whole thing on my laptop automatically.

Radar detectors aren't that useful in a lot of states because most cops don't use radar. They use point to point timing or other methods. Most highway or state cops will use them though.
Got that same dash cam/mirror and it's not bad. Had it almost a month and I'm not sure if i want to use it as a full mirror replacement, the issue i had was the resolution of the screen which is really good for seeing people and objects with the wide angle cam but it's almost impossible to identify anything at a quick glance. If there is a cop car 200-300 feet behind you, you won't notice it until gets closer or turns on the sirens, making any bank robbery much harder.

They need to invent something that can detect undercover cars/interceptors, especially in the highway I've seen Nissan's, chargers, honda civics, all types of undercovers coming out of nowhere just tailgating ppl til they pull over

Except all the heads-up displays i've seen either have severe double image ghosting OR they have a film sticker you must attach to your windshield which looks bad from inside and looks terrible from outside the car.
Just forewarning those led light strips can get you pulled over here in Cali. Not quite sure if the cop was just tryna give me a hard time but he said something along the lines of it confuses law enforcement, something about it making your car come off an undercover (which I thought was bullshit) then there’s the matter of it “distracting” other drivers. But yea if your in Cali & want the led strips under your seat and dash atleast get some decent window tint first and be on your Ps & Qs when driving with them on 👍🏾
