The damn commercials are worth watching this because it shows a peak into how lifestyle in America was before social media and smartphones shit even cellphones lol like a completely different world, glad I had a childhood in the early 2000’s to have a glimpse or sliver of this experience before I got older and social media/texting cellphones which led to smartphones started to come out and change society all together I feel like living in this specific year as an adult could be more of an entertaining experience in terms of socializing than right now In 2024

To be a teenager again, walls covered in MJ/Bulls posters, getting the best version of the NBA on Sundays and wrestling on Mondays… btw, that was Jeremy Renner in the Bud Light commercial, kinda cool

How New York was never called for a moving screen on that baseline play is wild. Thanks for posting this. The ball movement alone makes these games so much more fun to watch than today. EDIT: of course the second I write this, they call Houston for an illegal screen. Lol.

I graduated high school in 98’, and this was the first time in my life where I got an extended look at what the Knicks would look like as a team without Ewing being the focus of the offense. By this time in Ewings career, I believed they were better off without him.
Isiah was extremely complementary of Jordan and Pippen when he worked for NBC from 1998-2000 as an announcer and studio analyst. He called Jordan the greatest player of all time during the '98 Finals.
Isiah came around some during his game commentary on Bulls games. He was a very good announcer. Always gave Jordan high remarks on his play. I’ll give Isiah that.
