Make sure you're handy with tools and have about an hour to put this scooter together! This is one scooter where you DEFINITELY want to do a pre-ride check of all the screws before you go cruising away at 40mph.

I’ve had this scooter for the past year and a half and it’s been amazing too me and goes about 47 mph full charge not too mention a single charge for me last for about 4-5 days top speed traveling too work too and from about 20 minutes to and from also customer service for me has been flawless any issue I have I’ve gotten answers for immediate within 24 hours
How is it that I didn’t see your review before I bought this thing. Others raved about such a good scooter for the price so I bought it. And I try to research before I buy anything. I feel like a sucker. None of the other reviews covered any detail that u brought out. Know one ever mentioned quality of battery cells or any of the other cons.
Your honest review shed new light on my purchase. I’m a bit bummed but as you’d said not bad for an into scooter. And I do work on all my stuff so thanks again for the heads up. I’m now changing outside on our patio and won’t be charging during the night. Fortunately only charged one time in the house.
Also I got in on a summer sale for $893 I thought I scored big time 😅.
This is my first scooter so I don’t have a comparison. But my rookie impression are that I like the bike.
I’m a new subscriber and will continue to be a loyal fan. Thanks, for your thorough and very honest review my family will be safer.
I think the reason these scooters are cheaper now is because of the UL certification. People are being way more careful regarding that when buying a scoot because we dont want a random scooter blowing up in your apt/house.
Also if you could get to it it would be epic if you showed the differences between the sx10 and gt88 like suspension tires and on and off road differences
The _LEOOUT_ GT88 also has the same specs, just a different frame, but is even cheaper. Bears a very strong resemblance to the Solar P1 pro.
mph to kph divide by 5, multiply by 9
kph to mph divide by 9, multiply by 5
72kph is about 40mph
65km.😮😅
@rexluminus9867 yeah I wrote 9 but meant 8. Mixed up temp conversion. (5/9 )-32 is Fahrenheit to Celsius
Thats what you call a real budget scooter it actually doesn't look to bad not a bad deal at all
They actually have bins that you can mix and match for resellers, titan motors from China makes all of them
Cheap and good scooter is Solar scooters I was owned one long time ago was 60v 3200watt of power really good scooter and you get good customer service from them
Looks almost a direct descendant, many common parts, with the original base/ cable brake 52v Zero 10X. (Which also became marketed as Varla 1). Yes, an aged design, but a decent one. Maybe the 10x steering damper fits; maybe the batteries are interchangeable. Maybe other basic Macury (10X factory in China) parts might work. Kick stand different but the fenders look very similar. Most important to make sure of, is if it is fire safe with the cheaper cells, and probably no BMS or equivalent. As you appropriately call out.
I'm tempted to buy a cheap 60v 6000w laotie ti30 clone from banggood and ride it until it dies, then buy a crazy 72v controller and battery and mod the shit out of it. Seems like a decent frame to use and can hold a big battery. The one I'm looking at has a 38ah battery and was on sale recently for $1600 CAD! Kinda kicking myself for not grabbing one.
I have the same model under a different name/supposedly upgraded version, and should let you know the battery is cheap and with less capacity than advertised, my battery is getting weaker already with less than 400 miles. *(Edit: This is slightly embarrassing but I actually had the scooter in single motor mode for about a week while I though the battery was going out lol... Oops.. Remember the check that button. :P)* I actually originally bought the banggood one and then tried to cancel the order the next day before it was shipped and yet they fought it... Had to get the credit card company involved. Even so, if you plan to upgrade yourself it's probably the best platform for the price, easy to mod etc. Also check out the Obarter x5, it can be had for ~$1600 and has a larger frame for the battery and a much better handle bar lock system, when I buy a 2nd it will probably be that one.
@FatYokel I was looking at the bigger 13" 8000w scooters too, definitely a lot bigger frame size on those ones. Yeah, I figured there had to be some issue with the battery or something. Cheap cells makes sense..
@@JP-qq2kn The dirty truth is that nearly all PEV manufacturers use cheap cells in their batteries because that is where most of the profit margin comes from. Much like canned food being from the same places and merely having different labels, all the vehicles and batteries are manufactured in China at the same factories regardless of branding, and as such often use many of the same parts. A handy person can use this to their advantage and purchase a FAR cheaper but still top of the line capable scooter like you're considering, with the understanding that any scooter will still take some elbow grease if ridden seriously. I don't regret mine at all despite its flaws it's a serious capable machine.
@@JP-qq2kn I've seen the Laotie as low as 1k which is when I bought it but then changed my mind to the same model in a ZonDoo. Compared to the scooter in this video there is no comparison at all, hydraulic forks up front is a superior design that all scooters should probably have and is not to be underestimated.
Had my Leo out for 3 months it starting to lag and I always have to check the brakes so be careful and check your brakes ,also it’s super fun I go up to 39 mph doesn’t hold up charge well you can’t really chill around town not worried if yr battery well make back so you always have to be mindful
Yo did it show it was in a warehouse is California and say label created
It advertises 50 miles range. Is that true ?
@@Nick-Thomas-Gageyup
GoTrax GX1 for $999 (no tax and free shipping) would probably be a better buy as it is at least UL rated and better chance of support.
Yeah I had that scooter, broke the kickstand, and was sent a new one. Pretty good service. And a lot better parts going into the Gotrax. The screen is actually amazing.
I see so many videos like this and none of them.Mention the fact you can get a 50 mile per hour blue Tran.Lightning from manimotors for a thousand dollars with an l g battery.72 volts 5000watts
What?
That's not actually accurate though. The cheapest 26ah Chinese battery version is 1199, the 32ah is 1999, and the 35 is even more.
Not to mention that the scooter has been discontinued because the speedway factory couldn't build it for shit
If the Quality Control is a lil to be desired. You DEFINITELY wouldn’t buy this for your kid. You want the safest most recommended one. Imagine skimping out on a scooter for your kid. Pay the extra come on 😂
44mph at 70 kph
funny seeing one of these on your channel just days after I did a mini motors conversion on my red colored version of this exact frame and everything now it has the internals and display of a dualtron victor 30ah variant but running kaabo mantis 1000W motors and gets a fairly solid range, just did a 32 kilometer ride on it I believe 2 days ago and damn the suspension is sus and with no real way of getting access to the headset when the bearing eventually blow out and the steering becomes all notchy
How else will I know where to get a quality water bottle, or a noctua screwdriver? I need those call outs. Almost as much as I need this segue, to our sponsor!
ALWAYS ... Great and Honest Review! 🤪 Thx Ginger!

Ah-hah! Your in Bellevue! So many different scooter reviewers in Pueget sound.
Who???
The Zondoo version has 60v/28ah
Which model is that? The only ones I'm seeing that are 60 volt 35 amp hours, and more expensive. Not to mention the frame is held together by 400 screws. It looks just like a rebranded Yume, or straight out of the FLJ factory from 5 years ago. It's easy to find scooters that go fast for cheap, but the secret is throwing in that third element of quality. The layout one was at least a clone of a 0-10X and Mantis, both decent scooters, But I think their customer service is probably terrible, plus the buttons and display were all outdated which is what made it so much cheaper.

That shit is flying
The g2 master is the same price right now
Holy sh!t you're right! That's a heck of a sale.
U have any tips for riding offroad? Do we put more weight on front or back tire for stability or how to get more stability in offroading
Hey brotha I have a huge issue and I think you maybe could help me. The rear swing arm has bearings in the original wolf king. I went to change my rear end and the bearings just fell out. If you see this if by any chance you could help me with dimensions on the. And old one I can scrap. I'm so sad Alibaba sent me cds instead of the head and the tails system.
The three screws under the front of the king sheared off and I went to replace it and scooter is too old to get parts and I've already been burned on Alibaba and I don't wanna do that again (I got my money back)
Please brotha I wanted to replace my rear end with your recommendation on upgraded springs and this all fell apart. I called voro., kaabo, fluid, and I can't afford to another king and I have no license it gets me to work and I'm desperate.
Local bearing store said it was a odd size to find.
Hezzo f6
just got a mantis king gt w/ 200 miles for the same 1100
Good deal!
That’s a steal
the ajoosos x500 electric scooter popped in my search for a 40mph scooter under $1000 and the price was too good to be true at $99.00
Yeah, that's a scam. Steer clear.
@GingerOnWheels thank you so much. I totally enjoy watching your channel
@GingerOnWheels by the way have you ever been to spokane and if so what budget scooter would you recommend that could go 40mph just to keep up with because my kugoo kirin G3 is having a lot of problems and getting Expensive to get part for
I feel like this scooter has gone way over some peoples head its not suppsed to be high quality or anything i mean your paying only 900$ the cheap battery alone would be almost half the price but it has sinewave controllers and the website says they use LG cells the breaks will be fine especially with regen breaking 4 but for the money you cant beat it at all
The vsett 10+ 25.6ah is at 1,790 before tax and it's 60v and it is backed by a great seller
They seed me one too for review
Seems like a similar deal to the joyor scooters
As always, how much do you weigh and what is your height?
I think is similar to me at +200 lbs and +6' tall.
"Ships in a week and you're not stuck waiting all summer for the scooter". All of the max G2 early bird/pre-order owners felt this pain of waiting last summer.
What about duotts d88 that one is quit cheap for its price
Any chance you could do a review on the Kukirin G4? it's about 800$ on aliexpress no tax, 0 shipping atleast to europe seems like a good deal.
I just got it in the mail today 🤠
@@GingerOnWheels how do you compare this to the kukirin g4 for someone that weighs 130lbs 5'9
@@codiekennedy-lt2kz It's a couple hundred bucks more but it will probably have twice the torque compared to the Kukirin. Single and dual motor scooters really are hard to compare because dual motor is so much more fun in my opinion
I just ate the side of a car on my scooter. They turned in front of me and I couldn't stop in time.
My scooter is all messed up. My thumb hurts and my back does little bit also.
@@KyleKick909sheesh, that sux scooter repairable? Who's fault?
@@KyleKick909that’s too bad ! Be safe out there . Hope you get everything fixed up and healed soon. I got hit my a car bout a month ago . Gotta be super careful on the e scooters !
off-topic…you sound a lot like this moto vlogger I’ve watched on RUclips
Oh yeah? Do you remember their name?

Thats pretty cheap for the specs. I have found a Kugoo KuKirin G2Pro on a store close by i know its slower but its also cheaper at 830euros. Does anyone know is that model is any good?
Also i am looking into the new Minimotors Dualtron Popular with the dual motors at 1250 cuz its faster has bigger battery and i can find more parts.
Nice
isnt the kukirin G4 faster and cheaper then this?
On paper, yes. It's funny you should mention that, they actually reached out to me after they saw this video and are going to send me a G4 for testing. The only thing this scooter has that the G4 doesn't is a slightly larger battery. 20 amp hours on the G4 versus 25 amp hours for this scooter.
Pity it’s not the G4 Max ….still not available in the 🇺🇸 or 🇨🇦 😕 Hope they reach out again when it does , I’d like your opinion on the 12” wheels & the 60V 35.2AH removable battery (don’t think it’s LG) also if the specs are close to accurate.
@gingeronwheels im worried i ordered mine last week and its tuesday and it says theres a shipping label but it isnt moving i bought the gt88
They might be shipping it internationally with Air freight. If that's the case then the label will update after it clears customs. Either way, Amazon should have an estimated delivery date if you got it there.
I appreciate it man I'll let yk in another week week and a half if I got it
@GingerOnWheels so I have received my Gt88 I love it good quality build I was going into work this morning at 38mph and didn't see the curb until late so I slammed on the brakes and flew over the bars lol but I saved myself but now I broke my left turn signal but I talked to customer support and they are sending me a new one out
Nice Review as always
Hey ginger we do reviews to but i can’t find a way to start do you think I can get sent a scooter from you that you never use I can buy one from you to I was just wondering
This or g2 master?
I wouldnt dare buy a scooter like this. None UL certified, terrible production quality. Probably doesnt even have a real BMS that has all the important stuff needed for battery safety
But it has Lg batteries.
kugoo g4 is the best scooter under 1k for 40mph.
Nanrobot D4 + 2.0 $999
Looks really cheap i think the screws will fall off
The Foholo F15 is much better same price.
IT LOOKS LIKE A COPY OF THE ORIGINAL EAGLE ONE FROM VARLA
Which was a copy of the Zero 10X! It's ALLLL starting to make sense now. 🤣
I saw one I was interested in at flea market. Not to informed. On it do yall mean they can catch on fire
44 mph
i can name a faster and better scooter for the price ginge my solar p1 pro and i have hit 43 mph on my gps phone but hey i weigh about 10 stone 😊
19ah battery on the solar vs 25ah here.. also cost $200 more. Still, good option though!
Video is BS read the instructions first so you can so you can switch it to MPH and give the right speed it’s now your viewers job to do YOUR job for you!!
Zero 10x body
Bitching and moaning about a scooter that goes upto 70kms ph is pretty lame considering the price
Garbage
