I just literally seen a video yesterday of some dude named Mr Centra Driver on youtube i believe getting pulled over on this exact scooter for speeding by a motorcycle cop. You are correct here in Cali Surrons are illegal to ride on the roads as they are considered Off Road vehicles. 😅 but these roadrunner mini bikes as long as you dont speed over the speedlimit and remain on the right lane if there are two lanes available, you should be good. 😎👌
I saw a video on TikTok of 3 people on surrons getting arrested in Cali. They were off-roading and actually got a police helicopter on them. They all got walked out of the trails and back to the road in cuffs and officers walked the surrons out and impounded them. It's getting craaazy down there.
@GingerOnWheels yeah it definitely is. Maybe the person that called was unhappy because they can't afford a surron, so they ruined the fun for the other guys. 😅
When im heading home in my RRP I behave and spend most my time in the bike lane with an average speed of 26mph seen many cops and even ride by a police station and no problems so do us all a favor behave use common sense and we can all enjoy our pevs and yes after an 8 mile ride my booty hurts. Be safe and wear a helmet.
Niceee. Do you charge it even if the battery is somewhat full or does the manual recommend letting the battery get to a certain percentage before charging ?
@@HarshObserver I was charging when I got to work and when I got home now I only charge at work and the battery is at about 30 percent when I charge it. so now I get 2 trips per charge with an average speed of 26.5 mph and it's a 20 mile round trip.
Most important part of this video is when you highlighted how silent and smaller this thing is compared to surron or eride pro ss mainly because it's got smaller wheels and has no chain which also means much less parts wearing out. And I think this is really important because pedestrians don't notice you, you can be on the bike lane, and the police and lawmakers aren't being triggered unlike with surron.
@@GingerOnWheels yes and i really worry about new ebike laws because let's be honest a lot of surron or eride owner simply do the stupidest thing like driving on sidewalk or on people grass lawns, it's like can you try any harder to give excuses to these lawmakers to ban them
I have almost 2k miles on mine and everything he's said is correct. 1st upgrade everyone should do is upgrade the suspension, its too soft and you bounce around like crazy and dangerous at high speeds. But overall 10/10 bike and like it more than my surron as it gets lets attention and faster too. Tbh the bike requires no major mods its perfect for most out of the box.
As you own both, could you help me. Which one would you choice between the Wolf Gtr or the Roadrunner pro ? I know they both different, but which one you pick ?
I can't pick one definitively, like you said they're two completely different devices. If you spend most of your time cruising on the streets at lower speeds than the roadrunner Pro would be better. But if you like to off-road, do wild things, or go really fast then the GTR is better.
I guess as you were saying with how the tires are pretty big and with the street tread makes them stable, but I’m still concerned with how small they are. I’m almost 6’5” how comfortable I would really be. If I could add a rear rack for grocery shopping it would be golden. Oh well.
I'm over 6' and I feel a bit small on this bike, that cruiser v2 you left a comment on earlier might be a better fit for you if you're looking for comfort. But this RR pro has the SPEED. 😁

Battery 🪫 sag sucks on this E-Bike It's not for long distance sadly I'm going to end up selling mine I'm going to get a gas mini bike instead so I can keep up with my friends I got stranded and I had to charge it at this park for about 40 minutes to an hour just to make it back home but it it's good to cruise around the neighborhood or to just get to work. And if you try to maintain 30 to 50 mph you will not go that far in distance and getting a $900 extended pack battery from the company would just make the bike even heavier but the distance will probably be there but I still wouldn't trust it. Honest review and on this experience this thing is cool looking and that's the only thing that sucks about it battery sag. I was lucky there was a park with outlet charge it up a little so I can get home meanwhile all my friends were still riding gas mini bikes.
