I would recommend a visual representation of what you are talking about, you explained these concepts well but it was difficult keeping up with you because you have such a soft aura… your voice, the background everything just made me wanna take a good nap no offense at all… I mean that’s a really good thing I felt a great deal of peace, but for these types of information you might need to do more to keep people alert.. hope this helps, I’m new to your channel working on my bachelors so this is the only video I watched so far but I will be looking for you later because this was very helpful information

This is a wonderful take, but to practice as an official art therapist, you do have to get a degree in psychology, it can be specific to art therapy, but it has to be a degree. Promoting anything else, could get people in trouble, practicing as a therapist without a formal degree constitutes for trouble.

I currently have an LCPC (counseling) license in Illinois. If I’m interested in clinical work, does that mean I get the ATR-BC?

Until there is a way for individuals to get alternative schooling/training that still qualifies as a masters degree, you will need a masters in psychology and anything else is considered malpractice.

as far as I know, there is no regulation around the term, however I'd make sure to check the board rules + law every year to be sure - these things can always change.
