I am impressed that you can come up with such unique ways to build hip mobility (strength and range of movement)! I appreciated watching you adjust to your space, I have to do the same on days that I can’t have my usual spot.
Thank you Joelle for putting together these hip videos. I finished your hip challenge last week and my hips have released, and I have gained more flexibility again. I have been committing to doing yoga every morning to honor my body and put myself first! Thank you!!!
I have done this sequence multiple times over the past few weeks and my hips have never felt so good. I really feel it when walking and hiking, so thank you!
I was able to lift my back foot, barely, but I really shocked my hip doing so! Had to give it a moment to recover. The windshield wiper eventually ironed out the kinks! Pretty challenging. Will come back to this later! Thanks Joelle!
Hi Joelle! I just want to say I 💖 you so much! Your videos are right on time!!!!😩 One suggestion, may you include the Numbers in the video title? Ex: "Yoga for tight hips Day 1" That would help so much, I'm not sure how many of these videos I've missed but I am going to go back to make sure I've done them all! Namaste.💖💫
Hi Kay, thanks a lot for practicing with me, so glad you like them! I actually did that on purpose because a lot of people shy away from trying practices on RUclips if they think they may need to do the entire series, and I really want each class to stand alone! But I think it's fantastic you want to do them all - that's what I always recommend! If you sign up for the challenge (it's free!) you'll make sure not to miss any: tinyurl.com/yc6kuwn9 😉
"Such a fantastic routine! 🧘♀ Perfect blend of strength and flexibility for improving hip mobility. 💪✨ Felt amazing after just 10 minutes! Thank you for sharing this. 🙏❤"
joelle, you always keep things so fresh and interesting with postures and movements i've never even tried before! i really appreciate the variety and the care you put into your videos!!
do you happen to know what muscle in the outside of the hip is working in the movements we did in that 90-90 position? i really struggled writing that sentence so hopefully that makes sense lol. just curious as i sometimes get cramps in that same spot. thank you for everything you do!!!!!
Those 90-90 movements are super tough! There are a number of muscles involved in the external rotation of the hip in particular, the most "famous" of which is probably the piriformis and which can get super tight for so many of us! You may want to give this practice a try sometime to see if it feels like that's where the problem area is: ruclips.net/video/w0QBEy3tghM/видео.html
Wow, I believe this is your fastest K so far! It’s turbocharged, what they call a heater in baseball! 1.2k in just a week! Congrats! Well done Joëlle! And thanks as always!
I know hip mobility is important, but not my favourite exercises ;) With the 90:90 position, I assume only one hip needs to be on the floor? Can't lift the heel at all.
That is super challenging for so many people, you're not alone Katrina! Lifting the heel is an internal rotational movement, and most people find external rotation a bit more accessible due to their anatomy (I've got internally-rotated hips so it's a little easier for me) Great job keeping at it, I don't think hip mobility is anyone's favorite 😂
I couldn’t find a routine with a hip flexor in the title. Can you recommend a few that hits the spot you mentioned I should do in preparation for my big hike. Ended up doing this one. Still tough but was a little more manageable compared to the first time! Thanks Joëlle!
Of course! For future reference, if you're on a computer and you go to the home page of my channel, you should see a little magnifying glass where you can search for keywords. Unfortunately I don't think that option exists on TVs or phones, but you can also try searching "yoga with joelle hip flexors" on RUclips directly to see what comes up. 😉 But in the meantime, here are 2 classes that spring to mind : ruclips.net/video/m2UEzPheLYk/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/1v0qL8DOqe0/видео.html

I appreciate that Crystal! I'm still between homes and indeed finding every tiny spot I can to film at the moment, well spotted 😂
Love it. Thanks Joelle!
Fantastic! Great job Anne!

Great job Larry! It's a super challenging move and cramps are pretty normal if your body isn't used to it - but it'll catch on quick 😉
Enjoying the challenge. It's just what I need for my hips! Thanks Joelle.🙏
I'm so glad you're enjoying it Muriel, thanks for being part of it 🙏
