really annoying how people are commenting "omg this song is the next strobe!" the genre is called progressive, the only thing in common between this song and strobe are that they are both melodic and they are both progressive house. if you refer to this song as strobe you are basically referring to his entire work before 'for lack of a better name' and any other artists producing this genre of music as strobe. which is a very naive thing to do.
It makes sense if you don't just take a glance at it. If the press is on him or something like that, he feels that he has to hold them off while trying to deliver his music as fast as possible. If he doesn't have that problem then he can take all the time he wants on a song. Not to mention that he would most likely work more throughout the day due to lower stress
