Very cool. I just found you and had to sub.. Thanks for sharing man ! What a great gutiar! They were so cool and it still is a cool gutiar! Best Regards from the midwest USA Tim
The idea that you don’t intonated it like a regular guitar is fascinating and something I would have never though of because it’s so uncommon. Pretty much stuck with out of tune high frets unless you want out of tune cowboy chords. sounds like a problem only tempered frets could sold. I wonder how had it is by the time you are in the 30s? chances are only dogs could hear the issue at those high frequencies but it is an interesting problem.
We think it's still best intonated at the typical 12th fret spot, as its largely unplayable past fret 24 anyways. Still a cool guitar any way you shake a stick at it haha!
KILLER guitar!

Holy grail on the Hamer Fan Club
You had the Skid Row sound down! These came out in '89. Little did they know that their nemesis, Grunge, was right round the corner. MMMWWWWHHAAA!!!
Great idea to showcase that rare bird 👍 👍. Can I ask what chorus was used on the clean tones? Thanks
It was a Boss CE-1 emulation added in post. It's a stock plugin from Studio One
@@guitarsplusvictoria Thank you
Fretboard is cut like my pc1 archtop Jackson. 😊
Uli Jon Roth’s Sky Guitars have like 35 frets with the last few being in whole steps for more space to bend.
I remember those ads in Guitar mags.
18 and life... Skid Row
