I admire your commitment fully. However. I work in psychiatry and sleep is THE most benefitial thing you can do for all your physical and mental health needs. Please don't cut your sleep cycle short as in the long term it will not benefit you the way you think it will if you are not getting the minimum of 7 hours. It will effect your hippocampus (memory) more than anything which will effect your mood and cognition far more than you realise (the research is out there for you to look at re: matthew walker). Number 1 in your trading plan should be "get at least 7 hours of sleep so my brain is functioning properly so I can function properly and fully in my decisions in life and the markets". Sleep deprivation will do you no good in your life and the markets. Get your sleep and give your brain a chance to be the best it can be- deprive yourself of sleep and it literally dies impact EVERY other aspect of your life in such a destructive way. Take care my friend. P.S I'm enjoying your content and learning a lot from it 👍
Hey! Thank you for this and i'm grateful to say sleep is one of the biggest things i pay attention to now. I track my sleep with an oura ring and am currently in the process of optimising it. Thank you for the comment and the kind words :)
@@MichaelBamber It would be interesting to set yourself some cognitive tests to take (say an hour after you wake up) and correlate them to your subjective sleep the night before and further correlate this to how you traded and your focus and thought processes throughout that day. It may be that simple that a bad nights sleep (defined quantatively through your test result or subjectively through how you feel you slept) may significantly impact your profit or loss on those days. Over the course of a few months it would be very interesting to know what results you find out. I work in neuro - degenerative illnesses and circadian rhythm disorders so if you ever require some info just give us a shout!!!!
