God I just love Bowser in this scene. The music, the taking of the castle to the universe, cinematic style of the whole scene is just badass in the Wii era
I’m a fellow Peach fan here but… Does anyone find her kinda a bit stupid here, like I can understand she was probably just in pure shock from everything going on, but I mean really? Notice at the SIGHT of Bowser she just stands there watching him about to destroy her, everyone, and her kingdom, like the first cannon, you’d think she’d see him from miles away and go full security mode. Next, notice as he continues this making things even worse she continues to stand there, not saying anything back to Bowser to get lost or anything, and her poor Toads are clinging on to her in total fear, does she do anything about this then? Nope, still stands there acting dumb not knowing anything of what to do. (What was the point of that baby Luma anyways she was holding anyways, not even it could do anything?) And finally while still acting dumb, she literally waits on Mario until the last second to actually do anything while everything is completely destroyed, she couldn’t do anything sooner?
Would you talk back to a dragon turtle thing that has a fucking lighting strike forming in the sky with his fucking hands? That’s easily a time to just do nothing. The beginning was a W for bowser. I mean he probably had 100 UFOS in the sky. Bowser never tries to hurt peach. There is no reason for peach to try to risk that considering she’s still weak as hell in this game. The only idiotic thing peach did was before the game even started. If he kidnaps 5 of your people and you, you get better security. Though no security was stopping bowser in this scenario 😂
First opening the villains really 1up’d the hero in a way that didn’t seem stupid for both characters (Unless your counting CS because sonic CDs opening was fire)

This will always be my favourite 3D Mario title! Dang, those airship noises give me chills!
This opening alone solidifies Galaxy as the best 3D Mario Game
