The worst thing about these new vehicles is the adaptive cruise control, it slows them down behind a car and then when a semi comes blowing their doors off they look down and realize they are driving slow and then pull out to pass the exact semi that just passed them.
It used to frustrate me so badly but now I make a game out of it.
Subway is ridiculously expensive it used to be five dollars for a foot-long now I think it’s like 16 or 17 it’s ridiculous I’m in Vermont. I actually refused to eat there because it’s overpriced for what it is

16 sounds about right. Oklahoma here and footlongs are roughly 12 to 14 us dollars

Subway here in ND is $16+ depending on type sandwhich.
Anymore prices of fast food you're paying for convenience unless you order on dollar menu or using coupons/app deals. Adding drinks or cookies is a high profit item. If I drove truck I'd have to have a fridge with healthy food or meal prep at home for most meals.

Here in Las Vegas that meal you got would be the same cost about $16.00 and I'm thinking that's a large drink and 2 cookies. Your asking shouldn't a meal cost around $10 . Ya if it's McDonald's for a child. I would say $15 to $18 is the average today here in the states. And $22 to $25 at like Olive garden, Applebee's, ect. Quit complaining and work harder. Hahaha !!! Hi……. Regarding driving on Highway many drivers never drive on highway especially women. I am truck drivers I have problems with small cars when they pass you they hit the brakes slow down especially at the rise of a mountain or hill and you are full load trying to get up 🔝. Thanks 🙏 keep it up 👍

Ol’ Blue is a beauty of a truck. But that T800 tandem dump at the delivery site, that’s my dream truck. Air cleaners, stacks, heavy front end, yup. One day.
Yo josh, I've not had a subway for a while now, but on average, in the UK, one person, one meal, about 10/13 pounds. It is used to be a lot cheaper
Here it’s $6.00 for foot long if u add snakes & drink it will go up but our subway has churros mmm good I skip the rest for they’re churros

In some of my old holiday journals I have photos of me at the enchanted forest. I love the BC scenery makes me miss the tranquility of it.
Here in the states in a truck stop it’s like $5 to $7 more my usual at subway is $10.90 on the road it’s $16 to $22 crazy
Last meal $15.21. Carnivore diet 2 lbs chuck roast. Way better than that subway meal.

Goes to Tim Hortons while next door at A&W is a place that has 1000% better coffee and hashbrowns. Also Three Valley Gap resort looks nice but it is way run down.
I wonder if restaurants in places like Golden BC up their prices because there aren't any other towns to stop at for several hours drive in either direction.
They seemed to have an promotion for 5.99 €, but were very shy to let me see the other prices...no cookie with that, though.

Its so nice seeing those mountain roads up by Williams Lake again. Used to drive up to Quesnel every other summer to see family. Haven't been up that way in a long time now though
My wife refuses to use cruise control. She says it makes her feel like she's watching a movie when she uses it. She holds her speed pretty consistently. But it still drives me crazy.
Cruise is for steering wheel holders. Its never consistent and uses more fuel and thats proven unless your in the flatlands. Also more accident investigation tesms will tell you thats when accidents happen.

Never use cruise control in a big truck or towing a camper.
Most trucks using cruise control are a real PITA especially in mountainous areas. Learn to drive the truck.
Cruise control is for steering wheel holders Josh. Sorry the worst invention on big trucks. Our fleet trucks i remove it.
Subway footlong meal deal in Australia costs about the same as in Canada. $24. So I just get a six inch and bring my own water 😂. The price of burgers have also gone through the roof. Better off buying stuff at the grocery shop and keeping it in the fridge.

Last time I had a Subway was Costa Rica in 2013 and it was $11/12 as best I can remember.
I stop at that timmies regularly, usually parking space. The A&W there is not the greatest though. Met you at the Calgary Big Rig Show, it was a pleasure 👍.

@TruckerJosh We stopped for Subway the other day. $35 for 2 subs and one pop. I think it is more for the canadian Club, Turkey breast fancy type sub I havent tested that theory because I order the same all the time it seems lol. But yes pricy af anymore. When they have the 6 inch deals I load up on the veggies etc such a good deal then. The Subway app has some awesome deals, 2 subs foot long 15$ now I noticed.
At te beginnheng you went past the best swimming hole in Williams Lake.Right at that pullout, just follow the trail down to the lake. Where the Tim Hortons and A&W are used to be an Esso station and a Tastee Freeze. It was a small town then and after the mechanic left for the day and your friend was pumping gas, you could get free use of the shop to work on your junky old car.. So between the Esso and the Tastee Freeze, it was a perfect teenager hangout.

That exact meal in Ottawa $22.05 before tax. Your better off popping into a grocery store, they all offer ready to go meals and with healthier options, for less money.

Subway for a meal, at base price, is roughly $13-$15 for rural areas, in larger cities $16 USD sounds about right.
Subways in New Zealand can be from 18 N.Z dollars or more, combo twenty two N.Z dollars
In Houston, the same meal at Subway would be just under $15.

No car drivers use cruise control in the uk and every car wants to be in front of big truck but when in front slows down then when you go to over take them baring in mind trucks in UK are limited to 56MPH and car can travel at 70MPH the car will speed up and sit along side it 🤬
Yeah, don't go to Subway anymore. I can make a sammich at home much cheaper. Here in Fort Wroth, Tx. they are about 16 bucks for the combp's
$13.95 for a foot long in Kanab Utah about a month ago , plus a drink and the cookie it would be about the same as what you paid . I know in U.K. it’s £13.99 for a footlong meal which is about $24 Canadian so yeah it’s expensive around the world
