Nice option! There is a trick if you import your revised pkt and then delete the old one from the toolpallet, then copy your existing assembly, it recreates the copied assembly from the new pkt and maintains the parameters of the old assembly! BIM managers might like the new feature, makes it easier to control libraries
@Jeff this is great another thing to add that would be great is to be able to give a fixed width of the subassembly. In our country culverts are 1.225 m sections and everythime we have to go and manully set that up in the corridor so it displays correctly. Would be great if you can set this in the subassembly composer as a fixed value
Hi Jeff, You are Application Expert and a Very Good Teacher, For Your Information a new option also add in Subassembly Composer "Define> Code" Please make a Video About this also a 30mint Work out about Part builder. Advance Thanks "God Give you & Your Family a Healthy Life🤲 "
When I tried to modify a subassembly in composer 2024, I get an error message when I try to "save" or even "Saveas" another name it get the following message: "The process cannot access the file "G:\filename.pkt" because it is being used by another process" I haven't seen this in previous version of SAC and haven't found a silver bullet answer on the net. Any suggestions?
I'm getting this all the time now too. Sometimes it saves just fine even with the error and other times it writes a .pkt file that is only like 5kb and doesn't do anything. No rhyme or reason though...
Now corridors are almost useful! You just need to fix all the bigger problems with corridors... like making surface boundaries from corridor boundaries actually work when a corridor has more than one region. Or making it so we can clear bowties on an alignment that has more complicated geometry than a single straight line for 5 miles.
Yet another excellent presentation. This feature is a significant reason to upgrade to 2024.
Wow Thanks Jeff for your sharing. Been waiting this feature for a long time.

what does this do to old projects that are pathed locally?

When I instal C3D 2024 I couldn't sign in to get geolocation map
What is the reason
Assign a coordinate system under drawing settings (right click on drawing name in second tab down in tool space under prospector)
Thanks againe
