THIS is what makes this game awesome....as I read the comments there's a variety of fav trucks for different folks. Unlike many games, Snowrunner provides the gamer with a difference experience while utilizing the same gaming elements. The Navistar is my go to in the U.S. As a matter of choice, I don't use American trucks in Russia and vice versa. It's this kind of open ended game play I truly enjoy about Snowrunner.
It would be interesting to see how much time you’ve spent in each truck type in SnowRunner, and maybe other details like how many deliveries you’ve done in it or distance traveled.
Good suggestion! I'll have a look. It's actually probably less than most because I am usually filming particular things and I'm on PTS more these days. But maybe not.
Hilariously I took the GMC 9500 out with a crane and a 5 slot flat bed with all terrain tires, rwd and diff locks and unlocked the full Alaska map solo, no resets. By far my favorite stupidly successful mess around
I am surprised the BM 17 doesnt get enough love. That Truck is a beast! My Favorite truck so far. Course I havent been able to unlock Trucks like Western star and Cat yet. But Bm 17 has never let me down!
For me the Ford 750, Cat 745C, Dan and Tayga are just so good. I love the Hummer's torque and speed. And a special mention to the Kahn Marshall almost never getting stuck. And unlike the Tartarin, it's actually fast.
I was really looking forward to the F750, so I spent ages unlocking it. I think I had the 4.4 litre engine in my garage, so upgraded to it in the F750 (I haven't got the decent 6.6 engine yet). To be honest. In it's current form, I find the F750 unusable because of the lack of power, even on the most basic terrains. I think a boat anchor would be more agile for me. I do also like the Hummer though, not that I have used it much at all recently
@@stilley78 The best engine is a must. Otherwise you can't pull anything off-road. Until then, just use low+ when you are getting stuck due to lack of torque.
The azov Antarctic and the Cat have been behind some of my most challenging missions in Russia, either the azov handling the cargo and the cat being fuel support. They are basically the same truck just the azov is actually useful as more than fuel or log carrying
Definitely an awesome team. Although I do enjoy the 42-20 mod that makes the truck weight and other measurements the same as in real life. Gives it a nice boost without making it overpowered.
I agree with the Azov 73210, people give it flack for it's low bumper but it's nothing careful driving can't handle. It's very stable and powerful, a highly underrated beast. I don't have the Bandit yet, but it looks cool. I love the Twin-Steer. I do have the biggest engine and raised suspension, but I opted to go with the 55" OHD I over the 63" mud tires. I find the dual offroads gives more stability, I ran the mud tires for months but the truck felt tippy with those. I feel like mud tires really doesn't gain you that much, not saying there is no difference but what difference there is feels negligible. I always recommend going for the stability. So that means either the super double Tayga tire, or a a set of dual rear tires. But never single rear if you can avoid them. I don't like the CAT745C myself. I wish the articulated steering was the same as it was in MudRunner, that game had it perfect and I loved the K-700 and Skidder. In SnowRunner articulated steering is unrealistically weak and the driving experience of vehicles like the CAT745C is absolutely dreadful. Hopefully they patch the steering some day, but it isn't looking likely. The ANK is really bad with it's stock tires, again single rears. They prove themselves to yet again be completely terrible. I run the ANK with dual rears and yea it is still one of the easier trucks to tip, but nowhere near as bad as it would be with single rears. Again I don't yet have access to Tayga tires. Antarctic, yea see my 745C comment. Basically no steering patch = no drive. Again, I don't have access to the CAT TH yet. I love the Navistar, in terms of raw pulling power I'm not sure any other truck in the game beats it to be honest. I've towed big trailers with the P16, KOLOB's, and the Navi feels stronger then all of them to be honest. Honestly I never thought the Tayga was king. I take it out from time to time, but really I don't enjoy driving it all that much. I've actually taken a liking lately to the Voron D, feels nice to drive, plenty capably offroad, doesn't seem to have any trouble with cargo, full time AWD and Diff, 270L fuel tank honestly isn't terrible. Yea Tayga has more fuel, but it feels really slick and slidy to drive. Voron AE feels really planted but understeers and has a small fuel tank. But the Voron D feels like a nice middle between the two. Feels good to drive, carries enough fuel, it's just a really nice truck. Not a bad list ATCC, I would add White Western Star, Tatarin, and Ford F-750 though.
@@ATribeCalledCars i got it stuck in the Yukon flooded map while hauling a ramped flat bed trailer. Ughhh. Had to take out the CAT 745C to pull it out and get it to where I wanted it.

I'm one of those still waiting on console. Agree much with your list, especially the 73210, 4220, Twinsteer & Tayga. I dont have a thing for Caterpillar trucks, not even the 745C. But I do consider the DAN a part of my fleet. Strangely, despite low stats, I also have the Ford F750 & the Derry Longhorn 4520 in my fleet. While the F750 lacks torque, even with the best engine, it's stable on uneven terrain & easy to steer, much unlike many other scouts, even the Loadstar. For the usual 2 slot deliveries, I have the Grad & the 114SD in the team. I have a question about your fleet. Do you have a standard colour? Or you let each truck show its true colours?
I found the 750 to be amazing with the new engine from Imandra. I used it to pull the white western star through the river and up the hill. It was such such smooth sailing. It has replaced the paystar for early game missions.
@@nedton6240 I like the F750 too but never found it to be strong enough to haul things. In fact, for hauling trailers, it's underpowered. The Loadstar is still the best scout class vehicle for hauls. On the Fixer Upper task, I've hauled the White WS for several runners in coop. I've found only the Kolob 74760 can make such a haul without first repairing & refueling the White WS. There's no way a lighter vehicle can haul a heavy truck like the White WS up a slope by itself.
@@Ozymandias_SofaBear with the new engine I have been able to haul the all trailers even the ramped flatbed. Do you have the upgraded engine from Imandra?
Tayga is still good, but for me when I got the ANK I was thinking why are all these other trucks in the game? I see why the hid the ANK way in the back of Alaska, and the Tayga right there where you can get it easy, and then use it to get the ANK quicker.

To be honest, the truck that I can't go without is the GMC-MH9500 that you start the game with. Ever since the AWD and diff lock mods, I reckon this truck is unstoppable. Having said that, I don't think that I have rescued/unlocked/purchased any of the trucks on this list, so maybe I don't know what I am missing out on?
I'll be honest. I keep coming back to the freightliner m916. It has a short wheelbase and was one of the first trucks I felt confident in going anywhere in. It may be limited to trailers for hauling cargo but semi trailers give traction and it has plenty of power to pull any of them. I also love the crocodile for a small scout vehicle. It doesn't have the autonomous winch but it has a lot of tire options and with the fuel tanker body it makes for a scout that can go anywhere on a map. I'd say the gmc brigadier is my final favorite, gobs of power, good offroad capability, and very stable for its height. It really takes all of the shortcomings of the chevy kodiak (seriously, why did they put the longest school-bus frame possible on a single axle truck?) And it makes for a super useful truck. I keep a variety of them though and try to find a niche use for each one.
@@gtracer1729, thank you so much! If I'm not mistaken, that will be the most expensive truck in the game thus far. Hopefully the tasks will pay a little more in Canada.

If there was a 'best truck', then the game would be boring. I find the truck that suits the job best for terrain, amount of cargo, trailer towability, etc. I would say the tayga, bandit, twinsteer are very good, but to me, there is not a 'best truck
Things I Hate About Snowrunner: We Were Promised Console Mods Within The First Month Of Launch (Lie) Were Were Promised Console Mods And Phase 2 Before The End Of October (Lie) We Were Promised Season Pass Owners Would Get All Game Add On's And Vehicles (Lie)
Phase 2 and mods where never promised for October. I remember hearing reports that devs was saying "things looks to be on track for around October", but there was never concrete conformation of that. I agree the season pass situation is a mess. To be fair we don't know how Covid affected Sabre. Pretty sure Phase 1 was planned to be out a few weeks after launch and that certainly didn't happen and got delayed, we ended up getting Phase 1 in two drops over the course of months. Seems like things are getting back on track finally as it looks like we're getting all of Phase 2 (both maps and all 3 new vehicles)in a single update. I can only assume this means Sabre is finally back into full gear. But year for the first like half year, things have definitely not gone according to the road map Sabre laid out. I don't think players would be as upset if Sabre had better communication, maybe give us some insight on how DLC's are progressing behind the scene. But that's the modern gaming industry, few companies are open with their fanbase anymore.

@@ATribeCalledCars I appreciate it, Ben. Love the vids!
I love the don 71
I used the bandit speacialy with rane but is super slow
Watching this video I get ptsd from seeing do much of the Imandra map again.
You've tried Amur yet? That's even worse.
@@ATribeCalledCars Just a bit, repaired a few bridges to rush get the ZiKZ605R most other missions on the maps are untouched for now. I try to finish the maps in order they released in the season pass. At the moment I'm in Yukon, but nearly finished with that region.
Sorry but does anyone know, when this DLC will be released in the european market?
it launches at the same time everywhere. its on the test server at the moment. it launches when its ready. no official date yet but shouldnt take that long.
Great video good sir.
Do we know yet either which mods, or indeed modders are locked in for the consoles??
I’m really enjoying the nonsense of some stuff on PC, but I’d much rather play on Xbox.
Not yet, I think that's part of the process now. But I have read the restrictions and they are tighter.
7:33 it’s pretty bad on paper??
I dont know why the did the telhander...unless you want to loaf paletes manualy wich getsyou nothing. I have flc and yeR passes but i nevwr yryed that vehicle except maybe 20s in a 5m area once...and i buried it for good. RIP lol
What is the game at the very end called??? Looks cool
Pacer. :)
Isn't that jacket Niko Belic's from GTA IV?
I hope it is, what a crossover that would be. GTA goes country.
Who’s jacket!!!!! I was laughing so hard pop came out my Nose
We still don't know.
I bet the pacific p16 would be more popular if it was symmetrical.
Or AWD
I feel like the tagia tires are nerfed on the bandit
I'd agree...
The GMC is great, the addition of the AWD upgrade helped a lot. My suggestions aren't necessarily that much better than it is.
Bless your heart
No loadstar 1700 😭
first here!
ive said it before but ill say it again:
you should make a video on the Derry longhorn 3194!
Yes! I rescued that truck from the river in Alaska, and ever since I have been frequently using it
Tayga king is as bouncy as tigger. Dat just the truth.
Hi,can boost work when yoir vpn server in the uk,love your video
Cheers Kevin. I guess it could, you'd have to try!
Is the Bandit a mod until phase 2 or is it only on pc?
Phase 2, you should have it now if you have the Season Pass.
I still Find it anoying that you cant get the navistar on pc and that there is no attention from the devs on this
Its apparently available on Steam as a DLC truck now. I got it and its a beast.
Yeah im gonna buy snowrunner on steam now again
The Bandit reminds me of an ice cream truck
Personally I don't like the KRS Bandit because I've had too many situations with tipping over in that thing.
purple is the best color
Yeah or the dark green or pink.
My favourite truck is the Azov 6431.... I literally only use the Azov😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Great video, per usual. Random question, however. Due to you have early access to the Canada expansion, how much does the Bandit cost?
He_does_not_have_early_access,_he_got_the_pc_version
I believe it was 154.000 if I remember correctly
@@gtracer1729, thank you so much! If I'm not mistaken, that will be the most expensive truck in the game thus far. Hopefully the tasks will pay a little more in Canada.
Ben U need ² do a Live Stream of Snowrunner
I really need to, bear with me :)
:stonks:
I’ve tried to like the Twinsteer, twice. But I end up selling the mods and then the truck, as it just fails where others will not. Anyway, WHERE THE HELL IS THE YUKON UPDATE? I’ve platinumed the game, twice. I’ve had to actually start playing something else.... I can’t bear it... I know it’s not your fault... but I feel better if I rant in a comments section.... specifically yours. Thanks Ben.
The first truck that one bruh
If there was a 'best truck', then the game would be boring. I find the truck that suits the job best for terrain, amount of cargo, trailer towability, etc. I would say the tayga, bandit, twinsteer are very good, but to me, there is not a 'best truck
Voron 4380 anyone?
I do really like this truck.
@@ATribeCalledCars Honoured to get a reply from the man himself. Haha
New Zealand is nowhere near the UK or the USA, me sad
I have been to NZ, north island. Had a great time.
@@ATribeCalledCars there are soooooooo many fun things to do in New Zealand
Tyga
I never use the twin steer, I think half of the fun of the game is choosing the right trailer for jobs 🤷🏾♂️
Absolutely understand :)
i cant stand the bandit, it has small tires at the moment
Everything Russian is a beast. We don”t have roads there.
Indeed, the more I read about the remote areas the more I want to go.
Those midle atrivulated are rubish on hard grownd. Tips over easely due t9 that...not to me
Well there is actualy best truck.. Zikz 605kr
I feel like this was pre Zikz 605R. It probably is best overall.
@@ATribeCalledCars oh wait u made this video before zikz dlc right? Sorry then :D
You’re very charming
Thanks Don.
Things I Hate About Snowrunner:
We Were Promised Console Mods Within The First Month Of Launch (Lie)
Were Were Promised Console Mods And Phase 2 Before The End Of October (Lie)
We Were Promised Season Pass Owners Would Get All Game Add On's And Vehicles (Lie)
