Hahah, so true. Some people seem to just be digging for things to complain about. I also find it funny people think this is ”unrealistic”. What is realistic in DL1 or DL2? There’s a fine line between realism and fun.

I thought this video was gonna be how they fixed the zombie Disappearin.. Like a true fix would be that the zombie fights you the whole way down and then you both die in a bloody heap on the ground
@@stankewrx I have found a few spots with a perfect height right before the cutoff point but it will always kick you out eventually sadly, I hope they change it, but its still a great skill
i think there should be some cool fixes for concepts for block charging. if enemies actually don't exit the block charge animation while they and Aiden are falling, and that they can actually throw hands while falling, like a quick time even that determines either Aiden falls on the ground and perishes or the enemies do, or just take damage from a punch and or block it or something. just a thought but it would be awesome.
it does sound cool overall all those things where you can quick kill like the stomp or this move should have some kind of figh with it so it keeps things interesting rather than press this button to insta kill
That’s actually a really cool idea man. If it’s a human enemy you gotta wrestle with them mid air to be the one who uses the other as a landing cushion.
i think the reason block charge is automatically cancelled is incase the player charges an enemy into water, you float in the water if you charge an enemy into it they should make it so block charge is cancelled upon hitting the ground instead of on a timer, and for water they can just make it cancel when touching the water
Or maybe give player an option to kill enemy mid-air to stop the animation right away before reaching the ground. This will give us extra time to parachute

Combat was clunky and floaty, same with parkour, no volatiles roaming at nighttime, shitty RPG mechanics instead of cool blueprints that changed the weapon, main and side quests sucked ass. The first game had way better side quests with actual decent rewards
it needs an animation of a struggle, it doesn't need to be complex, just arms back and forth, and then the zombie getting off himself.... but also, they should allow you to crash with the zombie if you win the struggle (maybe holding a button to hold the zombie while tapping another button to keep him in hold) and when you crash if you didn't let him go you also suffer damage. isn't that hard.

I like how their fix to this was to just make aiden let go, therefore removing the fall immortality. Before you used to be able to drop from the highest point on the map like this and take 0 damage. Probably tbe simplest way to fix that. I quite like that
First I hear that they took out the grappling hook doing cooler stuff, and now I hear that they patched the enemies falling from high distances with the player surviving by making the enemies straight up despawn.
should make it so 1 they don't disappear obv, and 2 after a time limit of like 7 seconds of falling like that it should start to ragdoll so that you don't live ridiculous falls like that but still able to survive normal sized buildings but thats how i feel about it
Honestly I'm glad their fixing everything, I bought dying light 3 years ago and finished it last week, the only thing holding me back from buying this were the bugs and glitches.
I bought it after last update which was about 2 weeks ago, I waited till they got some updates in bc dl1 was the same way ppl forget, but techland is pretty good about staying with the game they release, they got more coming soon, I played it and enjoyed and honestly I think the game caught too much hell bc it's pretty good at least after update I didn't play prior
After hearing that they made the combat feel more weighted I might wanna buy it. I’m waiting for it to go on sale again because I just missed it on sale. Luckily it’s on sale pretty commonly. It’s either that, or I’m getting another game, or I’ll just buy The Following maybe.
All of these saying DL1 is so much better needs to move on. It can’t be same as it was back in 2015, all of mechanic and zombies we already saw it, can’t be experienced twice. the game has still enough fixes to be done: locations and challenges that keep ''?'' as location... npcs that are grabbed by zombies, don't give rewards but still make sounds like they are still grabbed by zombies.... certain red ducks can't be grabbed...
These falls are very similar to my falls in my sleep nightmares imo...Generally, I dont have issue with heights in game, but sometimes I m like "nope" in this one.

fall damage isn't the issue being shown here, it's the action being cancelled mid-fall. we see them take fall damage in the other clips aside from landing on the car at the end (which also makes no sense btw lmao).

The animation doesn't loop, so once the animation cycle ends it kicks you out of the fall.
i feel like it's a bug tho, i've done this to zombies from super high up and i was able to make it all the way down and not take fall damage.

Tech land did originally develop DI2 but then it got released under the studios of deep silver because of the other 2 developers couldn’t finish it.

The roll is for when you fall a distance and need to roll out of it it's not a separate movement you can do smh

The one thing they NEED to fix is save file deleted. I HAD GOTTEN 2 SAVE FILES DELETED FOR GOD'S SAKE TECHLAND FIX IT.
