I absolutely love this program because he is so straight forward and honest even about himself and his own limitations. He tells the truth of the Bible and just calls people to explain and/or show proof of what they say. Then he shows how God always shows up and shows out and shows proof from His word and history! He is such an amazing and faithful God and the program shows that. Very knowledgeable. Love it🎉

This is a pretty insightful program with an explanation of our ideological outlook on utopian society, and the challenges that implementing them might cause. And yet we struggle to do that all the time. In America, we cast our votes, and think that we are changing our world for the better, when, in reality, our society keeps slipping further and further from the ideal.

The day will come when the Creator will return the earth to its original glory. I long for that day, the day that He will bring me and all those who long for that day into complete relationship to Him, when sin and sefishness are eradicated and our lives will be lost in His love.

But, try as I might I can't keep caring for others. I become exhausted and desire solitude. I must be filled with God's love by connecting to God in prayer and focusing on verses from Bible readings. Then I can love. For it is not my love I give to others but, I can share what God has given to me.
Lamentations 5:7 Our fathers sinned and are no more, But we bear their iniquities. As you have clearly said, if we want to help future generations, we need to help ourselves to God's grace and let Him save us from sin. I'm about the same age you are Shawn. So I remember the fascination people of the 20th Century had with the year 2000. It would supposedly mark the time when we achieved the human engineered utopia to come. On Jan. 1 of that year, I watched 16 hours worth of fireworks live via satellite, one from each time zone. We're not really any better 23 years later. The line of reasoning books like this take is commented on in a way in the last three verses of Psalm 17, which define evil as referencing and orienting a world view around this life only. By not taking God into account, though the author may be sincere, he can never get to the goal he wishes to achieve. If only the world of today with gay marriage, abortion, an increasing openness to drugs and prostitution would realize their error.
CAN WE ENGINEER A BETTER TOMORROW? Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it-not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it-they will be blessed in what they do. (James 1:22-25 NIV)
very relevant to current polarisation in society and push for unity to save the world but fall out on humans and suffering to save it not discussed realistically. young people being led idealogically by emotional hype. Gods plan of salvation sounds opportunistically pessimistic to many. my older family members seeking hope of crossing over from death to life.. younger ones totally focused on their family's material future getting over problems that keep coming but as long as have level of affluence buttressed by parents they feel secure. poorer ones turning to wayout spiritual stuff on internet and living like hermits.
