I love how both the old and "new" flags of Milwaukee both pack in a lot of meaning, it's just that the newer proposal actually does it so much better.

The French flag with the red stripe reminds me of when the flag is printed in a continuous line and the machine doesn't cut it right. So a bit of the right side is at the left.

i actually don't think the milwaukee flag is worse than the flag of wisconsin. it's terrible, but you can at least tell it's the milwaukee flag from a distance. the wisconsin flag says "wisconsin" on it and i'm _STILL_ not sure it's actually not some other US state flag XD XD XD

Keep in mind that the Patrouille de France is not the only aerobatic team that does this. The Royal Air Force’s Red Arrows also uses red, white, and blue smoke.

The Patrouille de France (the aerobatic team with the jets) usually have get the colours right but someone wasn't doing their job and forgot how to count.

As a French, the Bastille story is pretty fucking hilarious but it doesn’t beat the fact that one candidate to the 2022 upcoming elections, who is far-right and extremely patriotic, recently messed up the words in the French national anthem. Absolutely golden.

It was just officially adopted this year. It had been around for a while but the Mayor before the current one was a stick in the mud about adopting it.

Hey vexillographer, my County has a horrible flag, but it's rooted in tradition and flown everywhere. Should I try and convince my county officials to change it and maybe try designing a flag for them or should I just not bother.

Sir Jaojao ikr. It's the seal from the castle of Loudoun and was presented to the county to be used as a county seal, but then they decided it would make a good flag. 🤦♂️

Hi, I organise in Facebook group a concuest for the best flag. People was saying candidates, next I separate it for gropus, we wote. Winers go to quoter-finals, next half-finals and final. There was 2 ediotions. Winer of first was Kingdom of Jerusalem and in second was Quebec.

Flag news for East Lothian, Scotland!
In late 2017, the East Lothian Council announced a contest to design a civic flag for the county, as we did not have one prior. Voting opened at the start of this month and 4 designs were chosen as finalists. My personal fav is design D, but these choices are pretty poor in my opinion.
