I was wanting a Hayabusa but decided on the Concourses. Then my wife says No we need a second auto. I am a disabled Vietnam veteran and wanted to feel the air in my face one more time. The banking situation make doing anything scary. 😢
You should be able to pick up a 2006 Kawasaki concours.. 1000cc. The last year of the four carburetors... That beautiful dark blue, metallic... About $2,000,, $3,000 reconditioned... It's a better bike than the 1400s. I bought probably the best-looking lowest mileage. One... With 12,777 MI. It's fully recondition now, I've got to have $3,500 for it...
That was my early retirement present... I was going to buy a electric bicycle to get a little exercise... The Kawasaki was a much better investment,, it won't lose its value, and should even go up in value... ?
The concours 1000 cc was made in America... For twenty years, Union built-in northeastern Ohio... 1986 through 2006.. they were always upgraded , and the last few years , had the best of everything....
They are Helibar style. I purchased the bike in 2020 and they were already installed. I have ridden a 14 without the risers and I can say they definitely make a difference. The stock cables and lines are still in use.
They're just aluminum blocks that goes under the bars... Do you want them made in the USA. Or made in China.... I would upgrade and replace the bolts with American grade 6.
I did this in 2008 on my then new Concours (which I still have). I found it a second gear ride all the way. By-the-way, traction control was not available until the 2010 model.
you ride on the road like an ocean wave it's awesome
advanced riding lines, not racing lines.
Most good riders can't do, right's at speed... Most bikes are dropped on the right side...
What an awesome rider you are 🎉🎉🎉
Please post more. It's so hard to find people that take line selection and throttle control this seriously 🫠

The old Kawasaki concours... 1000cc. Was the number one motorcycle that plowed Harley-Davidsons in the ass...

Are you using more back breaks than front or vice versa. How is the ABS interaction with the breaking on those Twisties
no brake only....😁😁😁
You ride like this so I don't have to 🙂

Where is this? It says 'Tail of the Dragon' but doesn't reference in what state?
I found it. It's in N.C.
That would be a long ride on my Concors to get there. I'm in Oregon lol
