Iverson is the opposite of a former NBA player turned hater. This man is an all time great, and so humble and loves giving old and new players their flowers. Love to see it. Let’s not forget how much of a hard time he was given as a player , look at who he really is, glad everyone can see it now.

He’s just humble and appreciative of the things he did accomplish not everybody can win an NBA championship. It’s just not written for some people too. That’s OK it’s a lot of more stuff accomplished in life! That’s all that matters he’s fine with his accomplishments. He came from nothing to something and to get a lifetime, Reebok deal, and to be one of the most influential NBA players of all time it doesn’t get better than that!🐐🫡

I feel like his MVPs were a blessing and a curse. They've put him in the conversation but at the same time people just look at the stats sheet and think he didn't deserve them. Nash and the Suns were the prototype team for the modern NBA. Plenty of players get credit for changing the game and I think he should too. His impact in retrospect was as big as big as Steph's. The Suns were scoring 110 points per game when the league average was 97. Granted it was a team (and coaching) effort but he was the driving force behind that team.

Being ambidextrous doesn't make you "Kyrie level" handling the ball. It's simply a lot of practicing and building the muscle memory of your arms, hands, and footwork to react, the same way your dominant hand reacts. I'm dominantly right-handed, but honestly, I feel even more comfortable with the ball in my left hand a lot of times because simply because of so much extra practice with my left hand.

In those years when defense was historically at an all time high, Iverson still was at least one of the top scoreres every year. @@Popsiclestand86 Yeah, but those guys didn't call themselves the GOAT, either.
As for Shaq, I'd argue he was on a slow decline after the Lakers: multiple injuries and a salary too high to justify his performance were contributors to him being passed around like a hot potato.

@Popsiclestand86 KD literally just said he should be in the conversation for goat. But that’s not my point. My point was great players have been chasing rings before lebron ever did. Lebron just gets 10x the scrutiny for everything. I like seeing the best players play against the best players but the sometimes organizations suck. Cavs couldn’t bring in anybody better than mike brown for a coach and mo williams lol. Hard to compare to someone like kobe who was gifted the lakers, phil jackson, shaq and a clutch squad pretty much right out of the gate. Which is why i think the goat debate is difficult(other than mj)

I always said that pound-for-pound he was the most skilled player ever. . And I agree that Kyrie is who most reminds me of AI in today’s game. And he’s spot on with Luka, that dude is just on another level. Luka just turned 25 and he’s already approaching record territories in numerous fields. The way game is officiated today... these guys would have been called for carry, double dribble and travel all the time in Iverson's time..
Iverson would have been called a decade earlier... actually most considered iverson to be carrying and travelling IN his own era..
never say BEST EVER because the rules change SO MUCH over time... Maravich was doing some pretty crazy things i his time when dribbling and offensive rules were very strict.
Swear everyone today says "best ever" or "Worst ever" just to get views.. and ignore all the context between.
people of different generations shouldnt have stats compared... same goes for percieved "skills" the eras are just too different.

I saw Iverson in a game where he drove 3 consecutive times and everytime he was knocked down to his butt on the floor, and he just picked himslef up, probably because they would do that to him all the time. Nowadays, that would be cause for intentional or technical foul for the defense. Due to his small size, he had to exert harder or more effort and he would be doing the same for the entire game.
