Acting all tough and questioning this store manager like she has done something wrong will boomerang with a jury. Everyone realizes this lady had nothing to do with what happened...Speaking forcefully and smacking paperwork around doesn't make you look smart while questioning this store clerk lol all she did was her job.

I mentioned Sue the gun company in another post and boi got reemed...it was sarcasm to mean...I have recently heard of gun companies being sued...because someone killed another with the guns the guns company produces ..The comment was sarcastic to state the BLAME GAME...is a joke. Kids and parents and schools and laws are all in a bed of their own...if these four entities got together and agreed 18 is a legal age to serve in the military, 21 is legal to obtain alcohol, and first day of life begins the accountability of teaching a child in the way he should go...not will go...lead the horse to water, can't make him drink...the cliches go on and on...but when JUSTICE HAS TO BE SERVED, all the cliches in the world we live in go out the window and CRASH AND BURN TO BLAME THE INNOCENT, REDIRECT BACK TO THE ACTIONS Committed BY A PERSON WHO KNEW BETTER...since kindergarten or as early as preschool was most likely taught right from wrong...EVIL is BORN IN US...IF YOU BELIEVE IN EVIL...

Talk about clueless. It is common for parents to buy a firearm to use for training the kids to shoot and firearms safety along with hunting and personal defense while in case of a home intrusion. All this is non-sense prosecutor BS. The only question that needs to be answered is did his dad turn this firearm over to his son to keep in his room or was it stored with his dad's other guns. I got a firearm when I was 8-9-10 years old for Christmas. It was kept in my dad's room with his guns and I was allowed to use it under adult supervision only for target shooting and hunting. Like I said, that part is common. Now if dad allows his son to take the gun and store it in his room they might make a case about buying it for his son. Their just doing this to try and put every blame they can on the parents. The parent's actual part in this is not realizing their son had serious mental issues and locking up their guns. The parents nor the school wanted to think this kid could do something so awful. Now kids all across the US will end up in jail if they draw the wrong picture or look at a gun or ammo on a phone or computer. We had Gun's and Ammo magazine in our High school library when I was in school a school shooting by a kid had never happen or was ever heard of. My 6 year old grandson got suspended a few years back for doing a finger gun while playing at school. It's either too much or too little.

This has NOTHING to do with WHERE the gun was stored, but rather HOW the gun was stored. My daughter and grandson moved in with me & my elderly mom. I immediately removed my gun and ammo and sold them, Right away. They were in a locked case but my grandson was mesmerized by it. My antique 22's also were stored somewhere else. I never wanted an injury or death from curiosity or worse.
I grew up around them. Hunter safety courses etc... He is different and I don't hunt and actually never really did lol 😆

The defence attorney for Jennifer Crumbley is condescending. As an attorney myself, I’m disappointed in every one of her cross examinations. She often sounds like the person on trial is the witness, not her morally reprobate client. Did she honestly need to confuse the gun shop owner with complex legal jargon? Her job isn’t to look into a crystal ball and foresee every loophole her customers might later use in trial after their demon of a child murders teenagers, her job is to sell guns with locks on them and do minimal background checks on the purchaser of said guns. Appalling conduct on the part of the defense.

I am starting to think that they were court appointed, obviously not top of the line. When I heard them arguing that the parents had no obligation for the safety of the other school children I wonder how safe their children’s schoolmates are. Imagine how the grieving parents feel s hearing these stupid, heartless arguments being presented as logical legal points.

They're not. They're private. The parents hired them even before there was an arrest warrant, and when they got arrested they all decided that one attorney would officially represent the mother, and one the father, and that it would not cause a conflict of interests (cause they both work in one office), and the judge allowed it.
Not sure how good/bad their firm or they themselves are, they were probably the first law firm the parents found anyway, so random chances I'm guessing...

It almost sounds like the defense is agreeing with the questioning of the prosecutor here, it sounds like a legal sale. I don't really understand what the point was here but establish a few things...the gun was sold to James Crumbley, it was sold with a trigger lock. One thing though unless I'm mistaken the gun left the gun shop with James Crumbley before a background check came back. No waiting period? That's legal? Not that that really matters but I thought there was a waiting period?

Purcasing guns for minors should make all involved parents gun shops ect. How come thier isn't a question on form that states the gun is exclusively for the purchaser and if a tradgety such as this horrible incident happens they are all responsible for the death of the innocent students that were gunned down in cold blood. Blood on thier hands . These parents should go straight to jail this young person with emotional problems should be put in a institution that will provide mental health to him. The young man should sue the shop owners as well. This isn't the first time parents purchased guns that were used to shoot up a school setting. Laws should be written across the USA that makes parents absolutly responsible for thier stupidity.

We talked about it and I agreed my action was Extreme. He realized how serious I am about gun safety and got his gun back. Seems that 30 min discussion with him was way more time than this boy's parents spent with him. Obviously the gun shop manager wouldn’t or couldn’t have seen the future, but it is pretty crazy to me that a child or a minor is even allowed into these stores! In my state, they don’t allow anyone under the age of 21 to enter a smoke shop, & you have to be 18yrs old to go into an “adult toy store”. I don’t know the statistics, but how many ppl have used adult toys or smoke shop accessories to kill multiple ppl in a school, or anywhere?!
If our country considers those places unacceptable for minors, why in the world are they allowed to go into a gun shop?! Just very strange conflicting considerations of what minors are able to mentally handle IMO…
