Mortician IMO is fine. The weakness of Mortician is: 1. You will most likely find the weakest wolf which pretty often is the JWW/KWW. And then things will get very wrong here. 2. As a role that is categorized as a Strong role, you are a slow informer. You don't get info on night 1 because that's literally the first phase of the game.
am late but: imo morti should be rrv advanced sherrif while Vio should be base or advanced det currently sandbox has both detective and sherrif in play (tbh vio and morti could both just be sherrif advanced roles but vio works more in line with det) violinist is a slow burner but gives the same information as detective but is faster for finding wolves and villagers (it still cannot find solo killer which analyst and aura seer also struggle from) but morti forces claims in comparison
@@gemink7939The base/advanced role system is not intended to upgrade the base roles with the advanced roles, as explained in the video which happens with the serial killer. The purpose of this system is to give the players the option to play with both roles, which have similar functions. Once sheriff is the base role of the mortician, the game would not be balanced since a mortician is many times stronger than a sheriff for being able to uncover dead players with 100% accuracy. The same happens with violinist, since the detective may give info selecting two alives players according to their choice, being more powerful than violinist, which has to compare players' teams with a dead player. Note that, for this reason, both the detective and the mortician are storng villagers, and the sheriff and violinist are regular villagers
(Besides the zombie) I like all the roles, even the weakest. I love to play as very weak roles, because I can sacrifice myself for the shadow or even claiming very strong role to protect the info roles by getting killed before them (like medium etc.). There is the balance between helping and getting yourself lynched. However, its about the players. I remember being medium coupled with seer and the witch had thrown by killing the seer. Its usually about people and not the roles in my opinion.

Actually, wolf pacifist now only reveal a certain player to the werewolves. So the wolf pacifist cannot confirm someone as good but also gives the werewolf more information.
I agree with all but red lady. Red lady is one of the best roles on the game, if you think its only purpose is to die then you're playing it wrong. Sometimes I claim rrv as rl and keep visiting infos at night to try and trick ww into thinking I could be potential rrv protector. Or, I only visit when all ww are dead and only I can find the difference between fool and solo killer. Red lady can be a very strong role, but most people don't know how to use it to its full potential.
Flower child is a really useful role. Saved a village many times from voting fool, from random voting on day one, or when most players (persuaded by werewolves) voted confirmed good person.
I agree with most roles in this list, however sk should be higher in my opinion. Fc isn't that bad and I don't dislike president that much. Good job at the gifs in the video, I noticed a lot of RUclipsrs use it and am glad you are doing it too(I don't like gifs that much but I think it will help your channel grow).
I have an idea to fix the illusionist role. We could cast illusions in all players even if they are protected, but we have to wait to have the whole village with the illusions to kill them. Also, to fix violinist we could make it check 2 players instead of one. I know that won’t do a lot but at least we’ll know if they were on the team of the last dead person, meaning that at the very least you will know that if both faces are smiling after a villager dies you found an evil/solo killer and a potential fool/head hunter. Giving you at least a reasonable statement to use a bullet and if you shot the fool/head hunter you know that the other person is a killer.
that illusionist change sounds like a nerf imo. Imagine only being able to kill at around night 6, there is almost no way you will survive that long without killing (and thus having a lot of villagers relatively speaking alive, who are on your tail). I think a proper buff is letting it only kill during voting phases (around the same as corrupter) and making it able to select two people per night: one is marked for death and one is illusioned. During voting phases, you can decide to kill all ''marked for death'' players. Of course it would be possible to mark a player both for death and for illusion effect at the same time. Then it gets similar strength as Corruptor.
the vio buff only works if violinist is advanced det tho (det is the only villager besides spirit seer (advanced aura) that can check two people (plus if violinist had that buff they'd be strong enough to mess up ww game in a blind werewolf game) but then again i feel like vio and morti should switch - the only difference between morti and sherrif is that sherrif has to guess who will die and morti has the bodies side by side if they check someone who was killed their info is exactly the same - similarly with violinist and detective (i know vio checks dead not alive but neither det nor vio check auras this means a shaman can make villager = werewolf which can't happen with morti or sherrif (which checks who killed) i guess in that way spirit seer should be a sherrif and gambler should be a detective and analyst should be aura seer

Im surprised sk isn't a base corruptor, they're very similar except the corruptor can stop the dead role being revealed And yeah, randon reveals are still annoying from vigi too.
SK is very similar to any killer, all killers pretty much are SK but something else that makes it better. Arso and Bomber and the converters are maybe an exception, but in my opinion SK is so basic it shouldnt be in any role tree.
I get that seer is really op, but sometimes there should be an op role in game. Also I don't think it needs a nerf, since this ruins the seer's impact.
It shouldn't be nerfed. Instead, it should be banned from sb and ranked and only appear in QG , where it can truly serve its purpose as a beginner-friendly role.

I hate sheriff tbh. It is just a guessing game at the beginning and by the time there are fewer people and you can probably get some info, you are most likely dead. Mortician and spirit seer is just far superior to sheriff. I would rather be violinist than sheriff.
Violinist is not the worst to play as, it's just very weak. As sheriff you are weak too, but the nice part of it is that it really requires you to read the game/minds. If you are good at that, and you appreciate doing some effort for info, then it's a fantastic role.
For me, the only thing i disagree partially in the video are both pacifist. For me, the pacifist could have two uses: countering the shadow wolf and giving extra info. By revealing a player during the shadow phase, the pacifist guarantuees there is no way the shadow will work that day, even if the wolves lie about their target, which would cause to flower child being really innacurate. Also, it gives 100% reliable information about some player and confirms whoever claimed pacifist to be a real random regular villager if it is not fixed and the wolf pacifist is not in game. In case it reveals an important role, that player could be protected by doctors during the night. The wolf pacifist may save as guardian wolf does, and, doing so, could reveal unknown roles, which are potentially killers or important roles. Also, the wolf pacifist could reveal killers/voting roles that are already known by the wolves(by wolf seer, blind wolf or sorcerer) to the village, so they can prioritize the killer in such a situation and give the wolves the win The remaining roles are very accurate, such as being useless or annoying. For the wolf pacifist, I cant really agree or disagree, role switches are more effective in the cases of "getting rid of the rk" since village tends to sympathize more with rk than werewolves, so revealing rk allows a good rk to frame the werewolves and collab with village to get rid of werewolves first. A role switch on the other hand, allows you as ww to frame the killer as a "disliked werewolf" and get the village on your side. With pacifist, you seem to miss the point of its nomination. Its strength is why it belongs to the toxic roles. Basically any village role that can see a specific role, let alone reveal it, with (almost) no effort, (so loudmouth and TG are exceptions) is broken/bad role design. Thats why its on the list. Seer and Vigilante also fall in that category.
I have idea to upgrade serial killer we can make serial killer can shoot once in morning and that's help it if still 2 players left they can shoot one of them and kill other in night as gunner

I ironicly i still think FT should be an advance of Vigi because if Gunner sacrifices a reveal for kill power, Then FT sacrifices Kill power for Info (It can be just a insta reveal whit cooldown and maybe you get revealed whit X player) the problem whit this, is apperantly its still a broken ability And this role needs a hard rework..The thing is the rework is so hard they dont know how to even rework it. And at this rate FT could just be a dead role in the pits of Custom games like president...I wonder how will the devs/players will salvage this..
FT sounds logical if you word it like that, but it is not balanced if FT would be advanced of vigi because ammo is the most important tool a village has, so FT would probably be too weak as Vigilante advanced role. I would rather see something like: advanced of Analyst, take Seer apart from the role cards system and make it exclusive to quick game (and custom)
Shaman and illu work against a lot of informers. I would argue that seer is extra strong against seer if you compare it with det/aura, because seeing that someone is shaman gives village more of a chance to avoid killing enchanted players.
I like illusionist because is really fun and it will throw off the village with the enchant tactic and if i just want to see death i use the killing ability. So i dont agree with u..

I didnt think any buff for him but firstly the skipping discussion button must be worked when ALL players want to skip,either way illu will be mad in a 1v1. Best does not mean strongest. If that would be the case, then indeed Seer belongs to the best roles (like Vigilante, Confusion wolf etc). Best/worst means how balanced/broken they are and Seer belongs to the broken roles (thus worst).
Bro ok illu is weak but one of the funniest solo killers. When illu is rk and it is a det game instead of seer, it is pretty useful , because no one minds the chance of having an illu ig and they just trust det and aura info, even det can say you are good. Also I think sk has one pro over canni that is canni is more risky so you have the chance of being caught without eating and if you save kills, you are the one who village would like to kill first. But overall canni is better. Why paci is worse than fc?Also I love ft
Paci is more anti-social deduction, that's why it's worse. In terms of strength, it's obviously better, but that's not making it a better role overall.
Also your canni point: although yes, taking that strat has its disadvantages, you always have the option to play like SK as canni. Can't say it works the other way around 😐

My least favorite roles (sorry for writing so much xd): Tough Guy - you literally have to have a giant tempo against the village in order to adequately get rid of it, there's almost nothing you can do to avoid discovery unless there is a Werewolf Berserk Zombie - you survive for three days and the village loses any chance of winning :) Stubborn wolf - it's literally two werewolves in one like wtf Violinist - Worst role in the game imo everything about it is really bad, including the role icon (I know someone who plays the violin and they agree that it looks nothing like an actual violinist), its ability, its balancing and even its unoriginal name. How did it make it past testing lmfao Anarchist - While it's not past testing yet it's literally impossible to win as this. The icon has zero personality (it's literally just a child in a blue shirt, all the other icons add on to the role they represent but this is just a child in a boring blue shirt playing an inaccurate violin. i get almost nothing out of the icon of this role) but to be fair there isn't much personality you can add to this role as most violinists don't have any sort of flashy clothing 3. in the past you couldnt lie about your role, meaning FT just gave cards n1 and forced reveals of those who got the cards. If you gave a card to a villager, and the other one to a werewolf, you were basically proven FT and could force that ww to reveal, as well as that if you gave that card to a common scapegoat (like beast hunter), they could reveal their exact role to the village, meaning werewolves could no longer claim beast hunter, you and the beast hunter were proven villagers by day two likely and you could force that other player to reveal themselves or call the gunner to shoot them. Yes, the fact that it could reveal exact roles and players couldnt reveal themselves as a different role, was really really strong if the Fortune teller was skillfull enough... In September, they reintroduced it though, its much more balanced now, but probably on the weak side actually, even though it is an advanced loudmouth role, meaning its not meant to be strong anyways.

The regular werewolf and regular villager were considered, but I decided to leave them out because they are standard roles and not appearing. If SK wasn't the base role of canni, but in the 'Other roles' tab, it wouldn't have been on this list.

You rate a lot based on whether it's weak or not. I think split ww is really strong, but only if you are a seasoned player with some strategies in mind. It's not useful to use it as jr, but instead use it for the win condition. I wanted to include reg ww but I figured that it's just the base of every single ww and it's unused, so didn't mind putting it on here. Sorcerer is a role that really changed for me as well with the role cards update. Since it's fixed, everyone knows it's in the game so they just are gonna count on a fake informer.
Yeah, people are more conscious of the role "sorcerer" even though it's buffed still massive disadvantage. They always say focus on sorcerer, and it's a vulnerable role. Sorcerer, becomes regular ww as a last ww, that's why I include regular ww. In, my opinion Kww>jww>Split ww.

I think Bomber is worst as well because Bomber takes too long to kill and could kill multiple wolves while over half of the villagers are still alive.

Watching this in 2023, I am happy that some of these roles are more balanced now.

I agree with most roles in this list, however sk should be higher in my opinion. Fc isn't that bad and I don't dislike president that much. Good job at the gifs in the video, I noticed a lot of RUclipsrs use it and am glad you are doing it too(I don't like gifs that much but I think it will help your channel grow).

I have an idea to fix the illusionist role.
We could cast illusions in all players even if they are protected, but we have to wait to have the whole village with the illusions to kill them.
Also, to fix violinist we could make it check 2 players instead of one. I know that won’t do a lot but at least we’ll know if they were on the team of the last dead person, meaning that at the very least you will know that if both faces are smiling after a villager dies you found an evil/solo killer and a potential fool/head hunter. Giving you at least a reasonable statement to use a bullet and if you shot the fool/head hunter you know that the other person is a killer.
that illusionist change sounds like a nerf imo. Imagine only being able to kill at around night 6, there is almost no way you will survive that long without killing (and thus having a lot of villagers relatively speaking alive, who are on your tail). I think a proper buff is letting it only kill during voting phases (around the same as corrupter) and making it able to select two people per night: one is marked for death and one is illusioned. During voting phases, you can decide to kill all ''marked for death'' players. Of course it would be possible to mark a player both for death and for illusion effect at the same time. Then it gets similar strength as Corruptor.
the vio buff only works if violinist is advanced det tho (det is the only villager besides spirit seer (advanced aura) that can check two people (plus if violinist had that buff they'd be strong enough to mess up ww game in a blind werewolf game)
but then again i feel like vio and morti should switch - the only difference between morti and sherrif is that sherrif has to guess who will die and morti has the bodies side by side if they check someone who was killed their info is exactly the same - similarly with violinist and detective (i know vio checks dead not alive but neither det nor vio check auras this means a shaman can make villager = werewolf which can't happen with morti or sherrif (which checks who killed)
i guess in that way spirit seer should be a sherrif and gambler should be a detective and analyst should be aura seer

Description: at night or at the first 7 seconds of disscussion time, they can pre-order/set a 'chaos'. When a chaos is activated, the discussion time well,..., will be cut down to 20 seconds of voting. The screen will be alarmingly red with some suitable alarm bells. The screen will be fading on and off. Any players who are not voting will be killed. If the votes are equal, both of them dies. Pacifist and fc can't use their ability.
roles icon will be fading, randomly appearing at random players.
Aura: CHAOS
That's a bit broken and they aren't adding new auras I think

No 10 - cursed, I hate this one so much because of the fact that it can switch teams, wwf doesn't have this problem which is why I prefer it to cursed and gr
No 9 - cupid, same problem but this time cupid gets a choice of team, while not allowed it still happens
No 8 - Flower child - usless
No 7 - Seer - op
No 6 - Aura seer, while balanced it sucks so much, gambler is better in every way
No 5 - illusionist - worse arsonist and worse shaman
No 4 - sheriff - maybe catch 1 evil per game? Very rare tho
No 3 - Ritualist - statistically there is a 5/16 chance someone who you would revive night 2 dies at night instead of you which is 1/16, often an important role is lost forever when ritualist is in game
No 2 - preacher, you have to have 3 villagers die in order to get an ability, negatively impacts village
No 1 - SORCERER worst role eeeevvver, if sorcerer is in game, werewolves have basically lost, wolf seer is the role that gives the wolves a chance to win, and your gonna sacrifice all that for an aura? Seer can bypass it anyway cuz you'll just show as aura seer
Honerable mentions - the basic roles - forkman, reg ww, sk - I honestly like forkman, sk is ok, reg ww does suck
Custom exclusive - President/fortune teller - broken
Zombie - hey I am that ONE person who doesn't hate or love it, it can be so much fun to actually PLAY and not grind xp, but it's the most fun when you're the OG zombie
Jelly wolf and bully - while they would take my number 2 and 3 spot respectively they aren't out yet so they can receive changes
Rl and night watch man - both are really bad
Also, no one touches my Wolf Pacifist, it's the greatest role ever and no one can change my mind

SK is very similar to any killer, all killers pretty much are SK but something else that makes it better. Arso and Bomber and the converters are maybe an exception, but in my opinion SK is so basic it shouldnt be in any role tree.

I get that seer is really op, but sometimes there should be an op role in game. Also I don't think it needs a nerf, since this ruins the seer's impact.
It shouldn't be nerfed. Instead, it should be banned from sb and ranked and only appear in QG , where it can truly serve its purpose as a beginner-friendly role.

I hate sheriff tbh. It is just a guessing game at the beginning and by the time there are fewer people and you can probably get some info, you are most likely dead. Mortician and spirit seer is just far superior to sheriff. I would rather be violinist than sheriff.
Violinist is not the worst to play as, it's just very weak. As sheriff you are weak too, but the nice part of it is that it really requires you to read the game/minds. If you are good at that, and you appreciate doing some effort for info, then it's a fantastic role.
For me, the only thing i disagree partially in the video are both pacifist.
For me, the pacifist could have two uses: countering the shadow wolf and giving extra info. By revealing a player during the shadow phase, the pacifist guarantuees there is no way the shadow will work that day, even if the wolves lie about their target, which would cause to flower child being really innacurate. Also, it gives 100% reliable information about some player and confirms whoever claimed pacifist to be a real random regular villager if it is not fixed and the wolf pacifist is not in game. In case it reveals an important role, that player could be protected by doctors during the night.
The wolf pacifist may save as guardian wolf does, and, doing so, could reveal unknown roles, which are potentially killers or important roles. Also, the wolf pacifist could reveal killers/voting roles that are already known by the wolves(by wolf seer, blind wolf or sorcerer) to the village, so they can prioritize the killer in such a situation and give the wolves the win
The remaining roles are very accurate, such as being useless or annoying. Thanks for the video overall
For the wolf pacifist, I cant really agree or disagree, role switches are more effective in the cases of "getting rid of the rk" since village tends to sympathize more with rk than werewolves, so revealing rk allows a good rk to frame the werewolves and collab with village to get rid of werewolves first. A role switch on the other hand, allows you as ww to frame the killer as a "disliked werewolf" and get the village on your side.
With pacifist, you seem to miss the point of its nomination. Its strength is why it belongs to the toxic roles. Basically any village role that can see a specific role, let alone reveal it, with (almost) no effort, (so loudmouth and TG are exceptions) is broken/bad role design. Thats why its on the list. Seer and Vigilante also fall in that category.
I have idea to upgrade serial killer we can make serial killer can shoot once in morning and that's help it if still 2 players left they can shoot one of them and kill other in night as gunner
I see a lot of ppl talking about Zombie, FC, Violinist, Wolf paci but what about Storm Wolf? It's literally useless, EVERYONE sees the swap.
Storm wolf is bad in its current form, but I expect a rework

its not terrible, I just think it should be considered as ''Other role'' instead of base role of two roles that are basically SK + something extra.
I ironicly i still think FT should be an advance of Vigi because if Gunner sacrifices a reveal for kill power, Then FT sacrifices Kill power for Info (It can be just a insta reveal whit cooldown and maybe you get revealed whit X player) the problem whit this, is apperantly its still a broken ability And this role needs a hard rework..The thing is the rework is so hard they dont know how to even rework it.
And at this rate FT could just be a dead role in the pits of Custom games like president...I wonder how will the devs/players will salvage this..
FT sounds logical if you word it like that, but it is not balanced if FT would be advanced of vigi because ammo is the most important tool a village has, so FT would probably be too weak as Vigilante advanced role. I would rather see something like: advanced of Analyst, take Seer apart from the role cards system and make it exclusive to quick game (and custom)
At least the new zombie is better than the old one, but the game is still luck based. At least the werewolves and the dead villagers have chance.

Shaman and illu work against a lot of informers. I would argue that seer is extra strong against seer if you compare it with det/aura, because seeing that someone is shaman gives village more of a chance to avoid killing enchanted players.
I like illusionist because is really fun and it will throw off the village with the enchant tactic and if i just want to see death i use the killing ability. So i dont agree with u..
I think it really is a great role with a lot of potential, but it's not correctly balanced (it should be buffed)
@@hypostein I think so , illu needs a small buff because corr is stronger than him. I didnt think any buff for him but firstly the skipping discussion button must be worked when ALL players want to skip,either way illu will be mad in a 1v1. And illu must bypass tg attack, at least he should be able to disguise tg while tg sees him.(You might say that it is already like that but they just nerfed illu by making him unable to disguise tg)

Best does not mean strongest. If that would be the case, then indeed Seer belongs to the best roles (like Vigilante, Confusion wolf etc). Best/worst means how balanced/broken they are and Seer belongs to the broken roles (thus worst).
Bro ok illu is weak but one of the funniest solo killers. When illu is rk and it is a det game instead of seer, it is pretty useful , because no one minds the chance of having an illu ig and they just trust det and aura info, even det can say you are good.
Also I think sk has one pro over canni that is canni is more risky so you have the chance of being caught without eating and if you save kills, you are the one who village would like to kill first. But overall canni is better.

Paci is more anti-social deduction, that's why it's worse. In terms of strength, it's obviously better, but that's not making it a better role overall.
Also your canni point: although yes, taking that strat has its disadvantages, you always have the option to play like SK as canni. Can't say it works the other way around 😐

Nowadays its actually a fine role. Every night, you can see if someone is on the same team as the player who died first last night or day

My least favorite roles (sorry for writing so much xd):
Tough Guy - you literally have to have a giant tempo against the village in order to adequately get rid of it, there's almost nothing you can do to avoid discovery unless there is a Werewolf Berserk
Zombie - you survive for three days and the village loses any chance of winning :)
Stubborn wolf - it's literally two werewolves in one like wtf
Violinist - Worst role in the game imo everything about it is really bad, including the role icon (I know someone who plays the violin and they agree that it looks nothing like an actual violinist), its ability, its balancing and even its unoriginal name. How did it make it past testing lmfao
Anarchist - While it's not past testing yet it's literally impossible to win as this. Three villagers is so much, and if you try to push villagers to get lynched everyone will know who you are immediately
Mortician - The fact that you get two players that are suspicious is just so absurd, like at least with seer you have to somewhat strategically place your checks but if a ww claims rrv and has convinced the entire village morti just finds them wtf
Red Lady - If you're solo and RL chooses to visit you then congratulations you're lost ;D + the fact that it bypasses any disguises (unknown aura, shaman enchants) and the fact that it's so easy to get cleared really just pisses me off a lot
Vigilante - Bit controversial but early game this role is stupid the fact that you can just reveal a cc when there aren't any votes happening is quite annoying for evil players
Astronomer - HOW DID ITS NEW "PROTECTION" ABILITY MAKE IT PAST TESTING WTF IT'S BROKEN AS HELL
Zombie - It's trash in every regard, why is this role still in the game. People who enjoy this role are zombies irl and they don't know how to properly play Wolvesville /j
Seer - While it's not objectively the worst this is the role I hate the most for many reasons, including:
-Solos have almost zero chance of survival and are forced to claim something early to have any chance at all
-Counterclaiming with a seer is literally impossible
-You can't use shaman enchants to defend yourself if you're not a shaman
-It legit turns the game from a "social deduction" to a "hope and pray I don't get checked by the seer"
-Unless there's no vigilante, it's literally impossible to counterclaim this role
-+more reasons that i won't say to not waste time i have already wasted :]
Analyst - It's only advantage is that it's a nerf from the seer, it's still way too powerful and way too annoying to deal with
All other roles I can appreciate to a nice degree but yep, this is my list. Ok i'll stop wasting our time, both mine and yours bye now

1. How does a violinist have anything to do with someone mourning someone's death? Do they play a depressing song which makes them cry? If so then that's just stupid lol, the point of a violinist isn't just to play slow, sad and somber songs.... you might as well call the role DJ -_- I seriously can't believe they literally made a classical music stereotype into an actual role. it's just stupid
2. The icon has zero personality (it's literally just a child in a blue shirt, all the other icons add on to the role they represent but this is just a child in a boring blue shirt playing an inaccurate violin. i get almost nothing out of the icon of this role) but to be fair there isn't much personality you can add to this role as most violinists don't have any sort of flashy clothing
3. IT'S NOT EVEN ACCURATE. No violinist plays with their violin pointing straight down close to the floor, nor do they play with their bow (what you would call the "violin stick") over the fingerboard ("the dark brown rectangle"). Everyone who plays the violin even a bit knows to do that.
You can say similar things about the astronomer; I barely know anything about astronomy but I sure as hell know astronomy isn't making meteors magically appear out of the sky to blow someone up (and why is the meteor shower in the shape of a star... wtf meteors aren't stars but ok). I also know that astronomers don't have any control over the moon and they can't make the moon get mind control powers.
I know this rant is probably just a useless waste of time, but if they're going to add a role it has to like, idk, make sense?? E.g. analyst makes some sense because you analyze evidence and find out something about it, shadow wolf makes sense because it's like a shadow is cast over the village preventing them from seeing votes, but how does anything about this role make sense? Everything about this role has such terrible representation and it seems everything about this role was made and researched within the span of five minutes. Seriously, why couldn't they just name this role like, "therapist" or "psychologist" or something like that? You could probably guess the role's abilities from that name alone, which should be the point of role names.
Anyway sorry for wasting your time but this role genuinely makes me want to slam my head against the wall every time I think about it (I'm saying this as someone who plays an instrument very similar to the violin)

you could say that about every role. doctors can’t protect people from getting killed, mediums can’t revive people, fools don’t want everyone to kill them, etc.
Could someone explain me what is the point of fortune teller? Did not understand why it would be good if you can lie about your role in the cards as you can do at the chat.
in the past you couldnt lie about your role, meaning FT just gave cards n1 and forced reveals of those who got the cards. If you gave a card to a villager, and the other one to a werewolf, you were basically proven FT and could force that ww to reveal, as well as that if you gave that card to a common scapegoat (like beast hunter), they could reveal their exact role to the village, meaning werewolves could no longer claim beast hunter, you and the beast hunter were proven villagers by day two likely and you could force that other player to reveal themselves or call the gunner to shoot them.
Yes, the fact that it could reveal exact roles and players couldnt reveal themselves as a different role, was really really strong if the Fortune teller was skillfull enough...
In September, they reintroduced it though, its much more balanced now, but probably on the weak side actually, even though it is an advanced loudmouth role, meaning its not meant to be strong anyways.

Explanation: with a update ft got updated that now ww,'s can fake their role under a ft card, there is no way too distinguish a real person from a ww with ft card and this just puts scape goats in a even more terrible position then they already we're Wich is unfair too roles like bh who now have no way too proof themselves anymore

What about the regular werewolf?
The regular werewolf and regular villager were considered, but I decided to leave them out because they are standard roles and not appearing. If SK wasn't the base role of canni, but in the 'Other roles' tab, it wouldn't have been on this list.

You rate a lot based on whether it's weak or not. I think split ww is really strong, but only if you are a seasoned player with some strategies in mind. It's not useful to use it as jr, but instead use it for the win condition.
I wanted to include reg ww but I figured that it's just the base of every single ww and it's unused, so didn't mind putting it on here.
Sorcerer is a role that really changed for me as well with the role cards update. Since it's fixed, everyone knows it's in the game so they just are gonna count on a fake informer.
Yeah, people are more conscious of the role "sorcerer" even though it's buffed still massive disadvantage. They always say focus on sorcerer, and it's a vulnerable role. Sorcerer, becomes regular ww as a last ww, that's why I include regular ww. In, my opinion Kww>jww>Split ww.
