I have been seeing warning lamp on the dashboard looks this:

After some research I found out it was the coolant that needs to be refilled or replaced and I decided to empty the fluid in my car and put a new one.

Useful video, but as the other comments, there are two types of coolant, blue and pink. Pink came out, and is correct for VW Golf mk4. Need to drain and put pink in. G13 I think it is, or similar spec.

First Richard Denny has right and second,you must wait until the engine it's cooled down,because pouring like you do,can damage inside parts

Hi how are you. i saw your video i like it. Can you help me out i also have a 1.6 petrol SR mk4 jetta 2002 model bora. My antifreeze boils and rizes and pushes it out and leaks. Can it be because of blocked pipes and the thermostat not working properly please help me out by giving me an answer what could be the problem?

You should really change it with pink one (G12) , even on the label of the coolant you are pouring on is writed (coolant safe for vehicles requiring organic dat type a blue coolant)

I own a MK4 R32 and I feel bad for your car, you are damaging it...wrong coolant, you need G12/G13 - do better research next time.
