Not one of his friends had their eye on him ENOUGH when he started to deteriorate, they couldn't react quick enough to stop him hurting himself..and that's what I mean. Not saying he needs an ambulance, but someone shouldve been watching him, to make sure that he was safe, when he was unable to do that himself. Whether it was just him fainting or something more serious, he was COMPLETELY relying on his friends in that moment to ensure that he was safe. If I was unconscious or incoherent, I'd like to think my friends would be: 1. Concerned 2. Ensuring my safety by making sure I don't collapse onto the floor or a hard surface and 3. Be assessing the situation and have enough awareness to know when/IF it becomes something that needs medical attention or intervention. Let's put it this way, regardless of whether or not he's always fainting, if a friend of mine had a condition which meant they fainted frequently or had seizures..my eyes would be on them often, to make sure they're not about to black out. It's your responsibility to your friends.

It sucks because seeing this video brought back the memory of helping a lady who had a seizure in the self checkout I was working at. I was alone and watched her seize up, all I could do was get her to her side. He needs new friends cause that's super terrifying to have friends like that
Wow.....absolutely SHAMEFUL behavior by these so-called family, friends, or loved ones. Shame on them. Seriously though!! Heaven forbid something even more serious were to happen!! Sheesh!!
I'm epileptic amd this is common for people to not know what to do. I can't tell you how many times I've had one either in public or at work and no one helps or knows what to do. The incompetence is real. I watched myself of work cameras having one and even strangers shopped around me seizing on the floor of a store. It's amazing how little people care.
What a bunch of inbreds, the woman with the camera screams catch him he’s having a seizure but doesn’t put her camera down. What sort of a cretin does that?
The lack of concern with these people is astounding. I mean, she eventually wises up. But he’s falling over and the guy beside him does absolutely nothing. It’s really weird watching it. If this was my friends I’d be embarrassed to post how poorly we handled it. Just weird af.

He's fainted... I thought he was joking.." Why was Michael suppose to catch Matt?? They are DEFINENTLY on something!! Poooor Matt!😢
It’s pretty deep -referring to the cut ,So you’re feeling it though- talking about feeling the pain . Are you throwing up?- also regarding the pain . And you are supposed to catch him- well because he literally told them he was going to faint, Most people would be ready to catch once they are told… conclusion: they are not on drugs, his friends are just ridiculous
When you have a seizure disorder the people around you should be aware of that. I have absent seizures quite often due to a brain tumor. That being stated people just think I'm staring off into space and ignoring the crap out of them. Nobody even has any idea. 9 out of 10 times. They just think I'm a jerk. Lol If you are prone to Grand Mal seizures, the people around you should be aware of how to perform to keep you safe during that time. These people seem like they were confused and totally shocked. 🤷🏼 Apparently if you look at the comment so he didn't even have a seizure, he just fainted. His friends are just lame. 🤦🏼
When I was a phlebotomist, it was common for people to pass out due to a vasovagal reaction. If you don’t get them on their backs, they have what looks like a seizure. They definitely aren’t as serious as a seizure, but can be very scary. I only say this so that people understand that you don’t have to have a seizure disorder for that to happen.
I agree but even fainting can cause injury if you land wrong you can create a situation (TBI)Traumatic Brain Injury, being prone to seizures which deprives brain of Oxygen during each seizure requiring meds to prevent and regulate activity. It is serious either way.D NOT LET HIM FALL EVER. if this is a regular event for him.
“Are you throwing up?“ Well, dumb ass, if he was, you were about to take a ride on Splash Mountain with your buddy there. And may I point out that people who are about to throw up don’t usually announce, “I’m going to faint.” 🤷🏼♀️
I assume Orthostatic, because it looked like what happened to me once after I fainted he fainted and the way he fainted, his body was still in an upright motion, so his muscles relaxed. So when he relaxed his muscles and blood vessels also relaxed, making them more dilated the blood couldn’t catch up to his head. It’s like getting out of bed if you get up too quick blood vessels don’t have time to constrict and Lead to fainting because the blood does not have time to get back to the head and it can look like seizures. You did right though lay him down so his blood is at equilibrium. 😊👍 great job!
I have seizures and friends who have seizures- we dont joke about it when it happens. If you see the early signs, please dont hesitate to make sure we are on the ground and on our side. It is the best way to handle a seizure. Please dont put us on our backs, as we could choke on our tongues or even puke if we throw up (which happens). As soon as I saw him in the chair, I immediately knew he was not joking and was about to faint. The signs are there, please be more diligent in paying attention to body language, it will save a life. Now I'm not mad at you or upset with you, or think you are a bad friend- but PLEASE dont take seizures lightly, even if the other person has joked before. It's a matter of life and death.
Matt cares about his friends. He did mumble he was having a seizure, which is a lot, when his brain is seizing. If they didn’t know he has seizures, they know now. And will be more helpful. Help spread awareness. ❤ I grew up with cousins having seizures. Staying calm is best to help Matt.

I work in Health Care and with individuals who have seizures so i am familiar however...my Husbands was THE WORST Ive ever seen. Took him to the Hospital and while in the sling going into the CT machine he had another one. He was kept at the hosp for 6days. They ran every test you can think of and they found NOTHING. They figure it was from insomnia, and lack of vitamins and potassium. It was so scary. Im just thankful he was in bed when it happened because he didnt fall or hit his head.
I used to have fainting spells and seizures too and they never found anything. Went to all kinds of specialists. I haven’t had either in over ten years, probably 15. I think it was just stress and depression.

What a bunch of idiots!!!! Then her shouting 'oh no,he's having a seizure '!!!!! Smiling, and laughing, you are all shameful!!!! I just hope he is ok...poor guy....
I used to have seizures like this all the time. My family knew what was wrong. As soon as they were coming on i knew to lay back and make myself comfortable. I had 8-12 a day for about 8 months, then they died down to 2 a day for around 7 yrs. I tried to get disability for almost 5yrs, they told me I still had use of my hands, I gave up trying. I have many health issues from nearly dying in 2015. I have not been the same since.
Siezures are so scary. I've had several and you don't know they are going to happen. If you've had enough you can tell the day you're going to have one but the timing is unpredictable. You wake up not knowing what's going on, everyone is scared or you're in the hospital or ambulance and you can't remember anything. You can't remember your address or how old you are or anything like that. It's slowly starts coming back to you but it takes a little while.
When homie is feeling like that, commenting that "it's pretty deep" severely exacerbates the problem for him, mentally. He was quiet because he was trying to calm himself down and get his mind off it so as to avoid the passing out. It is called vasovagal syncope, which is also known as neurocardiogenic syncope. It occurs when the body overreacts to a trigger, such as blood or emotional distress, causing a sudden drop in blood pressure and heart rate. This reduces blood flow to the brain, leading to loss of consciousness. I had an abcess in my armpit get excised and my BP (which is usually PERFECT at around 118/68) drop to 64/48 and I can tell you, I legit felt like and thought I may go into cardiac arrest. I had four separate ER docs come into the room and check on me because they were worried, while my 12 year old daughter was being moved to adjacent room to have a venomous spider bite also excised. Shit sucks. There is absolutely NOTHING you can do to stop it, unless you can somehow take your mind somewhere else than right there in that moment until your BP stabilizes and the feeling subsides.
Wow he didn’t even help him sit up, was he gonna let him stay like that the whole time. Who would joke about something like that? This friend is lacking sympathy, empathy and common sense. I feel sorry for the guy if he doesn’t pick better friends, who knows what’ll happen if he had another episode in public and instead of them running to his side they’ll watch him straight faced hit the pavement hard with seizures and life threatening concussion.
How horrific for this poor guy to go thru this and it be so casual w these ppl-one seizure can kill you and you certainly go thru a death experience when you have one-if you don’t come out of it and die you’d never know so you experience dying before hand-I know cuz I’ve had them

Its normal. Phlebotomist here. When people pass out they make strange noises, pee themselves throwup have seizures ect. Not all everytime but sometimes. Just make sure they cant hurt themselves or anyone else and get medical help. Do Not put your hands anywhere near their mouth.
My son was 7 yrs old when he has a seizure out of no where. He was laying down and started shaking. At first I thought he was playing around. Then he wasn't responding, I held him on his side, crawled to my phone holding him calling 911. Paramedics came and we rode to the hospital. He was checked out, and couldn't find a cause. We went to have many more tests after this, and still couldn't find a cause. He never had another one since. He's 15 now. That was a traumatic occurrence. Please if someone is having a medical emergency assist them, you may save their life.
My daughter has what’s called micro seizures. Unless you know she’s having them you wouldn’t believe it. The simple this to remember is that they can hear the world around them just fine however their motor skills suddenly turn off. Your job is to protect them and serve as a navigator for safety helping them to the other side of the seizure. My daughters didn’t start out with suddenly losing her motor skills, (they started when she was a kid) she’d just stare in silence like a deer into headlights until she’d snap out of it. Anxiety was her trigger.
It was a seizure, and either one could be dangerous if he injures his head when he collapses. And even when someone just loses consciousness, “faints,” the cause behind it could be very serious such as myocardial infarction, stroke, insulin shock or medication reaction, and so on. Losing consciousness for any reason requires attention from those around him.
My son has been type 1 diabetic since he was 2yrs old and has had a few of these, ending up in hospital a couple of times. Believe me they are frightening. !!! Btw, he's 43yrs old now & hasn't had a 'hypo' in years 🤞.
These can be deadly I have almost lost my fiancé twice from them once he was air lifted two a bigger hospital were there was specialist can be so scary for the family when they first start having them his was from a stroke he had and started having new activity in that part of the brain once he got a neurologist started on medication still took time get them under control he had one so bad once they said if my daughter had not been with him to call 911 he would have died we never left him alone and still don’t even tho he hasn’t had one going on two years now and is still on medication and still seeing the neurologist.
He had a deep cut. That was why the first guy said “it’s pretty deep.” The peroxide, alcohol, napkins, blood on the napkin, cut on his arm were all clues to this. Then the nausea and lightheadedness kicked in likely due to shock from the incident or the sight or loss of blood or all of the above. Possibly some other trauma occurred as well since we don’t know how he got injured from this clip. Everyone seemed to think he was pretending to be sick. He was probably laughing & goofing around prior to this.
I think sometimes more friend and family need to inform each other of signs especially when there is so many different signs and symptoms ranging from different levels
Omg my ex did the same thing. He passed out because my pet rabbit's teeth had fused, and it was Christmas day, so no vet was open. I took the rabbit to some friends who had raised rabbits. They had to bust his teeth out with a wrench. My ex passed right on out, went to the floor, twitched, and made noise for under a minute. It wasn't a bad seizure, and it turned out that he was ill and his blood sugar was EXTREMELY low. You gotta watch adrenaline rushed with no nutrition to give the body energy.
as a person who is light sensitive and has seizures, they are nothing at all alike. fainting is just you losing consciousness which can be caused by many things, whereas seizures caused by electrical firing in the brain, and in my seizures i am conscious and i can be unaware of my surroundings but that’s nothing like fainting, the side effects are so unpleasant besides the seizures themselves that you’ll wish or even beg that you were just fainting instead of having a seizure.
It is nothing like fainting! And @simply.stvrlightt described pretty well! There are many different trigger to seizures as to fainting, it is causing from either stress on the body (bad blood levels, lack of blood flow/ oxygen to the brain, low blood pressure, dehydration, shock, drugs/ alcohol, even pain when strong enough). Seizures are caused by neurons creating electrical impulses which "disrupts the pathways" that then leads to a seizure. THOSE triggers are fever, being sick, lack of sleep, low blood sodium, curtain medicine such as antidepressants, alcohol.
The bloke didn't have a clue.he thought he was joking.not everyone knows how to respond.doesnt make them bad people but I'm sure it was a learning experience.
It’s the “oh no, he’s having a seed-gur!”for me and then continues to not lay him down, but rather practically throws his ass into an upright position preventing the blood to flow back up above his heart🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️

If you are close friends with someone who has seizures i would hope they would have told you what to do and what not to do during a seizure! Im a retired paramedic and i was yelling at my phone watching this. Shame on the friend sitting next to him
Y'all are terrible and should be super embarrassed by how you all "handled" that situation
He fainted from the sight of blood, just because the body twitches when someone is unconscious doesn’t mean it’s a seizure. Calm yourself, try not get carried away with insulting strangers on a RUclips short. Says more about you than it does them.
@@crisspyg.9742 It doesn't take an idiot to see that their behaviour was out of line and they failed to provide immediate care/emergency support to their FRIEND.
Not an insult to state the facts, they did not "handle" the situation and they should be very embarrassed 😊
Didn't cuss anyone out or throw any insults around. Now, have yourself a lovely day.
@@Coolcat97x you ever had an injury where you bled? Felt light headed? That’s an automatic response from your brain. The people around him did nothing wrong, calling an ambulance for fainting, it’s ridiculous. Strange that you seem to know what happened after the video cut out. Could maybe, they stopped filming, to call for help? I think I’m the fairness of assumptions, I’ll go with yes.
@@crisspyg.9742they never said an ambulance should have been called 😂 they simply said their friends should have shown more EMPATHY and care. They said it in more words than that, but even I could understand the gist of it. Their friend collapsed and they looked on and giggled. If you can’t understand their point then you are this type of friend. The ones who just watch and laugh, and don’t try to take control of the situation. You’re angry at this comment because it reminds you too much of yourself, and I think you know how bad that is. Don’t argue about it, take it as a lesson and move on. Be better.
@@crisspyg.9742 I'd certainly reconsider my friendship group, if in a moment of need..they all stood by and laughed. I mean his head drops to the table and was very close at knocking himself on it pretty hard.
With "friends" like this you don't need enemies.😮😢
Could they rush to him any slower
Yeah, that was pathetic 😭
I am going through this right now. I had a seizure last week while I was driving and a wreck. I don't think that people do take it seriously with people that have seizures but that was my first one so just remember to care for him because they don't know what's going on.
@@bobjordan I hope you never have another. 😢
It sucks because seeing this video brought back the memory of helping a lady who had a seizure in the self checkout I was working at. I was alone and watched her seize up, all I could do was get her to her side. He needs new friends cause that's super terrifying to have friends like that
Pitiful bunch of friends! Especially the guy next to him.
Wow.....absolutely SHAMEFUL behavior by these so-called family, friends, or loved ones. Shame on them. Seriously though!! Heaven forbid something even more serious were to happen!! Sheesh!!
So you just sat there and did not catch him. That's messed up!
Not really much you can do besides put someone in the right position and wait it out, but by then you are already on the floor.
Damn don't le to me have an emergency with those folks
What a bunch of inbreds, the woman with the camera screams catch him he’s having a seizure but doesn’t put her camera down. What sort of a cretin does that?
The lack of concern with these people is astounding. I mean, she eventually wises up. But he’s falling over and the guy beside him does absolutely nothing. It’s really weird watching it. If this was my friends I’d be embarrassed to post how poorly we handled it. Just weird af.
Bro needs better friends.
This is the kind of friend that you DON'T want. 💕⚘
He said, "I think I'm gonna faint".
What on earth are they all on?!! Talking about "it's pretty deep... So you're feeling it though... Are you throwing up?... You're suppose to catch him!... He's fainted... I thought he was joking.."
Why was Michael suppose to catch Matt?? They are DEFINENTLY on something!! Poooor Matt!😢
Looks like cleaning bongs or something hear the glass and the peroxide and alcohol
Being serious guys are dumb as box of rocks giggles ugh people
Probably a bad cut. Rubbing Alcohol on the table, blood on a paper towel. Going to puke, and faint from pain..
It’s pretty deep -referring to the cut ,So you’re feeling it though- talking about feeling the pain . Are you throwing up?- also regarding the pain . I think I’m going to faint - Pretty self-explanatory he felt like he was going to faint. And you are supposed to catch him- well because he literally told them he was going to faint,
Most people would be ready to catch once they are told… conclusion: they are not on drugs, his friends are just ridiculous
When there are no enemies around, be thankful for friends to survive.
Yup he needs some new friends this is sad to watch
I'm so sorry.😢 This is so hard for him and for those who love him.
Apparently if you look at the comment so he didn't even have a seizure, he just fainted.
@@mysonsRnavy I completely agree. I work in medical. I could not agree more
“Are you throwing up?“ Well, dumb ass, if he was, you were about to take a ride on Splash Mountain with your buddy there. And may I point out that people who are about to throw up don’t usually announce, “I’m going to faint.” 🤷🏼♀️
The young lady who yells, Oh no, he's having a seizure, is the smartest one in the room out all the adults!! Matt is the worst!! What a clown!
I have them too. I get so frustrated I cry sometimes.
i always cry when i come out of mine. mainly because i’m pissed it happened again and embarrassed.

Matt cares about his friends. He did mumble he was having a seizure, which is a lot, when his brain is seizing. If they didn’t know he has seizures, they know now. And will be more helpful. Help spread awareness. ❤
I grew up with cousins having seizures. Staying calm is best to help Matt.
This is in private home not a restaurant. The family should have been a little better prepared!
As someone who has absence seizures and has been in scary situations during them, im thankful that my family is always on alert.

Dang that’s so sad, wth is wrong with people

This happens to me sometimes i usually know to lay down before if im alone but that would break my heart if i was around people and they did nothing like that 😢
In October I was awoken by my Husband of 20yrs having a seizure beside me in bed.
@@sEaSoNaLMiLk same same! They found NOTHING wrong. Because he had another Tonic Clonic (Grand Mal) in the CT machine and were able to see how severe the seizures were they kept him in for 1 week doing blood work, brain scans etc. You name it they did it. At the time he was suffering from insomnia and depression so they said that could have been the cause. He hasn't had anything since. Thank the Lord!!

My husband was cyanotic too and it's an awful thing to see you loved one change colour right infront of you like that!!! What was really scary was the temporary memory loss. He knew we had 4 children however he could not remember their names or their bdays. It was something I never want to experience again. To this very day if I hear any weird sounds coming from him I AM ALWAYS asking and checking if he is OK. It's like I have PTSD from it all. I hope your daughter is healthy!!!
@@HollyGW exactly! She couldn't make a peep or move her blankets for months without me yelling at her and panicking until I heard a normal response. And of course her being so young, she was 13 at the time, she just turned 15 on the 27th, she has no memory of it thankfully, but with that she also has no idea the severity of it either. Because of how long it lasted we had her tested for epilepsy and sure enough she was diagnosed. But the meds are working great, nothing yet that we know of anyway. Yikes that would be so scary to go through for longer than the initial hour or so it takes for them to snap back. How long was his memory loss? Yea, I don't like that, would have broke my heart too. It's scary because ya never know what kind of damage it could have done. We don't know a lot about the brain but it sure is interesting.
That looks like his family, so this makes it even worse their first reactions!! I can't even imagine 😢 💔 just hope he came through ok. Prayers 💓 🙏

They are probably just used to it, I have a medical condition that can make me faint and have really bad pre syncope episodes and my friends are used to it. 😂
Until the very end 😭
They weren’t “calm,” they weee being too cavalier about his condition. That guy was supposed to protect him injury.
As a correctional officer for 23 years I’ve dealt with many seizures. One guy would have more than 10 a day. It happened so much I could tell when talking with him it was coming. We just tell him go lay down you’re going to have a seizure. We knew.
It’s bad I have my daughter who has epilepsy and it’s very scary stuff almost lost her 3 times it’s not a good feeling very scary hopefully his ok ❤
Nothing like CLU LUS 'friends' around. FINALLY, one girl speaks up. I think he needs to find a group of true friends.

God bless this man,, the one who's having a seizure...my dad was epileptic
Siezures are so scary. I've had several and you don't know they are going to happen. If you've had enough you can tell the day you're going to have one but the timing is unpredictable. You wake up not knowing what's going on, everyone is scared or you're in the hospital or ambulance and you can't remember anything. You can't remember your address or how old you are or anything like that. It's slowly starts coming back to you but it takes a little while.
It's worrying when guy next to him is so nonchalant.
For real!! Maybe he was Squamish too!
Unobservant and cavalier is more like it.
Awareness is most important, those around need to realize the urgency.
This happened so fast and he was talking. I'm sure these are great friends. You never know until you are in this situation
Dana done recorded the whole atrocious scene with laughter in her voice until seizure struck .....dang

I hope my dude is okay. And I hope he finds better friends...
Its normal. Phlebotomist here. When people pass out they make strange noises, pee themselves throwup have seizures ect. Not all everytime but sometimes. Just make sure they cant hurt themselves or anyone else and get medical help. Do Not put your hands anywhere near their mouth.
Shut up 🙄
That is not normal.
I like how you just sit there though.i wouldn't count on you if he was alone with you.
Anxiety was her trigger.
thank god its only fainting and not a seizure hope ur good man luv
It was a seizure, and either one could be dangerous if he injures his head when he collapses. And even when someone just loses consciousness, “faints,” the cause behind it could be very serious such as myocardial infarction, stroke, insulin shock or medication reaction, and so on. Losing consciousness for any reason requires attention from those around him.

I am glad to hear he is fine. But this is what happens when you play too much nobody takes you seriously when you need them to take you serious✌🏾😏
I think sometimes more friend and family need to inform each other of signs especially when there is so many different signs and symptoms ranging from different levels
And she still decided to post the video to social media…
right!\
Omg my ex did the same thing.
A seizure is like fainting. Even if he was fainting, the man next to him did nothing.
It is nothing like fainting. educate yourself.
as a person who is light sensitive and has seizures, they are nothing at all alike. fainting is just you losing consciousness which can be caused by many things, whereas seizures caused by electrical firing in the brain, and in my seizures i am conscious and i can be unaware of my surroundings but that’s nothing like fainting, the side effects are so unpleasant besides the seizures themselves that you’ll wish or even beg that you were just fainting instead of having a seizure.
The best thing to do is kick the shit out of him, he will thank you later
The bloke didn't have a clue.he thought he was joking.not everyone knows how to respond.doesnt make them bad people but I'm sure it was a learning experience.

Bahaha, not her pushing him on the other guy, that let him drop to begin with, once she realizes he is having a seizure 😂
What were they doing that caused this? Blood on the napkin and bottles of alcohol or peroxide. Blood letting?

@@jessicawylie2713something about being pretty deep, he must have had an accident or something stuck under his skin. Probably causing a fainting spell. Uneducated for sure.
Im glad that the few friends I have can tell when Im not feeling well when I am around them even if I try to hide it. They dont take their eyes off me and know what to do. They are also very understanding respectful and accepting when Im too exhausted and fatigued to attend outings or not able to stay or continue to participate.
They understand that my condition is unpredictable so Im not always dependable but I do try my best and they dont push me to do more than I can and stop me if I try.
These are not good friends if any at all. To know he has seizures and not take the warning signs serious and laugh about it is so terrible. The nausea and not being able to hold his head up and his skin color changing was a big tell sign that it was coming and Matt turned his head and laughed.
Its called a convulsive faint, this is caused by various reasons and you can identify it by twitching ✨️
I have epilepsy and the worse thing that a person can do is panic in this sense just always stay calm and put them on there side to prevent suffacation and make sure there in a safe spot and wait till they come out of it and then go to the ER
"I thought he was joking, he used to do it all the time when we were kids" 😂
So he erred on the side of danger rather than on the side of safety?
