- Heidi is the first American to study psychology in Arabic at King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She started learning Arabic through Saudi TV shows and after living in the kingdom for only 3 years she had mastered the language. On this episode, Heidi talks about how she embraced the Saudi culture in addition to how her perceptions of the country had changed. She opens up about her experiences with stress, overcoming negative thoughts, coping with loneliness and turning challenges into strengths.

Saudi Arabia is undoubtedly the safest country I’ve ever visited. I’m eagerly anticipating leaving New York in a few weeks to spend an entire month there! Great episode! It’s wonderful to see a fellow American share similar experiences from their first visit. I too dream of moving to Saudi Arabia one day. For now, the tourist visa will suffice 😂

بخصوص المعلومة عن ارتفاع مدينة الرياض الدقيقه ١٢، صحيح الرياض تعتبر مدينة مرتفعه كونها تقع على هضبة نجد الي تقع بين طلعة القدية ونزلة الغاط والي يطلع وينزل معهم بيبان معه مستوى الارتفاع. أضف الى أن مسمى (نجد) معناه المكان او الطريق المرتفع

ماعرفت يعني ايش رقية هههههههههه !!؟ الرقية الشرعية عن العين والحسد تقراء الفاتحة والمعوذات 3 مرات وتنفث فالماء لرقية اطفالك مثلاً . او لنفسك والافضل انك تعملها بعد صلاة الفجر والمغرب تكون .. اقل شي ما توسس من الحسد لانها حصن المسلم . جرب تعملها تعطيك ثقة اقل شي من القلق والتوتر والخوف .

سبحان الله على احترامي الشديد لضيوف البرنامج هذا جميعاً وانا من اشد معجبين هذا البرنامج إلا اني ملزمة اعلق على هذي الحلقة.. حسيت اني ما ارتحت لهذي الضيفة أبداً (مو مهم رأيي للجميع بلا شك). بس حبيت اكتبه في الفضاء الخالي! ذكرتني بوحدة زيها كذا امريكية كانت مهتمة باللغات (فاتحة قناة وتطبيق تعلم الناس انجليزي وتتعلم لهجات مختلفة عربية) جات البلد ايام ٢٠١٤ وسوت انها داخلة في المجتمع بطريقة فظيعة وطلعت في التليفزيون تمثيل ودنيا وبعدها فجأة اختفت وطلعت اخبار انها شغالة مع ال FBI جات لغرض معين واختفت بعده.. ما ندخل في النوايا كثير ولا نحكم على الاشخاص من الظاهر (ان شاء الله) ولكن قلبي نغزني وانا اتفرج هذي الحلقة (هذي مو العادة بالنسبة لي، حقيقي فرحت على كل ضيف جاء واستمتع وانا اسمعهم) بس هذي كثير أشياء قالتها جابت لي استفهامااااااااات واللي يعرف الشعب الأمريكي زين وأسلوبه واهتماماته راح يستعجب بلا شك! (رغم اختلافهم)..المهم قررت اشارك احساسي مع العالم (طنشوني) ونشوف وش يصير بالمستقبل إذا ربي كتب لنا!
😢 والله العظيم أنا احب السعودية واتمنى اجلس هنا كل حياتي ان شاء الله يا رب 🤲 ما عندي شيء ثاني في قلبي

اللهجة الحجازية فيه لهجة حضرية مثل اللي ذكرها و غالبًا بسبب التنوع اللي بالحجاز و فيه بدوية اللي هي الحجازية الأصلية و تشابه كثير اللهجة النجدية

She's either leaving out information that would make the story make sense or she's not being truthful. في احد يحلم انه يروح يعيش في بلد بعيد عن بلده بدون سبب منطقي؟ الاغلب لما يهاجر يروح عشان الدراسة او المال او الجو والطبيعة الحلوه. ليش ما كانت صريحه وقالت ايش اللي مخليها تحلم لمدة سنين انها تنقل للسعودية؟ اخاف تكون لاحقا حبيب سعودي تركها في أمريكا 😅
