”Waging Peace”
I chose this song as the title track because it seemed like the centerpiece for this whole project as far as the subject matter goes. I wrote this at home in 2020 during the initial part of the pandemic, and It’s a song about finding peace and optimism within yourself in this world, amongst the troubled times we live in, as well as the guilt one may hang on that seems to never let go of the mental game.
Discovering that we are always our own worst enemy, and that making changes to better ourselves is the best thing we can do in order to see and truly cherish the important things that shine the brightest in our lives. - Alex Williams

Detroit Michigan!!! Watched him in concert just 10 minutes ago. This song was amazing. Husband surprised me with concert tickets for our 10 year anniversary. He opened for Whitey Morgan. This was my favorite song they played ❤❤❤
Stumbled upon your last album in a suggestion from a Poor Mans Poison album and I instantly liked it a lot. You accomplished the rare feat of having a better second album than your first 👍 So many underground new age country guys can't seem to nail that second album but you knocked it out the park brother!

Great song! I heard him doing an acoustic version this morning on a local college radio station.
I'm pumped for this album. Better Than Myself was a great album from beginning to end. He's took a lot of time off to perfect his craft and what kind of music he wants to make and I'm along for the ride.
