"Don't sprint or parkour through the building"
Warframe would like a word with you, sir.

A guide to close quarters combat:
Always remember to...
Watch those wrist rockets.
Liam Walsh those flamethrowers make for good barbecue
You just gave me heavy PTSD
What about the droid attack on the wookies?
Roger Roger!
Matt we captured a command post.
Or do what Havoc Squad does in the old Republic. Charge screaming into enemy lines throwing grenades fire as fast as possible and use your enemy as practice for your tackles.
Star Wars needs more ship boarding actions, they're some of my favorite parts
*My friend Kharn of the 8th legion wants to know your location*
Kharn Sempai noticed me?! I shall ready the Ursus Claws!
Also starship harpoons are an important development in the war against the space dolphins.
As is needed in this situation
FUCK EREBUS!
In the words of The Boss herself.
“Always remember the basics of CQC”
Agree.
CQC? Real Big Boss huh?
BOSS?!
SNAKE??
SNAKE????
As a rainbow six siege player I must say, good thumbnail choice
It's a very well done picture
@@alg5788 indeed, very well done.
I wish they made a Rainbow Six Siege esk Clone Commando game
Made it myself!
Noble Six thatcher would be so OP. It would be awesome.
If you want to get rid of Wookies... make them appear in the Star Wars Christmas Special! Chewie's family hasn't been heard of ever since... XD
1.) Get out of the fatal funnel
2.) Slice the pie when clearing a room
3.) Check corners
4.) Communication with team members
5.) Adaptibility to combat scenarios
Always be aware of your teammates, friendly fire is nobodies friend.
Remember to “slice the pie" when entering rooms
Flashbangs are your friend, or whatever the Star Wars version of those is.
Violence of action during dynamic entry is a must
Speed and violence of action
@@lordfrostwind3151 pieing is when going around and clearing corners not clearing a room, every member of the entry team has their own sector of fire. You can also do the high low method to clear corners.
And mg42!!!!!
Anyone want Ubisoft to make a Star Wars version of rainbow or is it just me
I want ubisoft to make a star wars version of all their franchises

Far Cry: the outer Rim
Anything else I'm missing?

Remember, don't take cover or wear armour. Instead _stride dramatically_ through enemy fire, picking them off.
And like space combat, *spinning is a good trick.*
A lot of SWAT and other civilian units are often more heavily armored than infantry troops because they dont have to hump all day and their AO is a LOT smaller.
Plus there is a budget to think of
There's also the RoE to take into consideration. When SWAT goes in, keeping civilians alive is pretty high up on the list. Marine or Army door kickers tend to frag out first.
@@evanulven8249 are you talking from experience? Because mine is the exact opposite...you cant frag out whenever you want in the military dude. Our ROE was so fucked up we couldnt engage targwts until we had visual conformation which is insane.
Not to reiterate what I said, but most of swats capacity to carry heavy armor like that comes exclusively from the fact that they don't have to carry their shit around all day. They are also afforded a lot more time in some scenarios, and have different options available like negotiators, access to the power grid and cell phone Networks.
@@scottmurphy4946 budget doesn't really have anything to do with it, armor is important there's always room in the budget for armor. Area of operations, AO, dictates your armor Choice far more than anything else. If you are in a place like Afghanistan, you can use the terrain to your advantage and you should be using that as cover to supplant your armor. Urban tight environments, like Iraq during the war, gives you justification for heavier armor while you're in cities. You'll be dealing with a more dynamic Battlefield with verticality, and improvised explosive devices will be far more popular. Hard plates are for gunshots, soft armor like Kevlar is 4 fragments.
@@nuclearjanitors thank you for your reply, everything you said makes sense.
Id die from heat in Afghanistan, heavy plates and kit on that hell no

Stormtrooper: What the hell is a 'doorknob'?
Man I wish we could get a star wars tactical shooter like Republic Commando again and maybe have gameplay like R6 Vegas 2 or Siege.
That would be insanely hype
@@S0l0117 its sad that its a really untapped market. I dunno if the demand isn't really there or it's just really niche. Battlefront is more arcade shooter than tactical shooter really.
STARWARS battlefront: Seige
Starwars: Jedis 4 Honor
Starwars: Mandalorians Creed
The MOST important thing in CQC in Star wars - plot armour. If you're the main character, you're good.
A guide to to CQC in the Warhammer 40k universe:
Get a company of imperial guardsmen and tell them to throw frag grenades in the building, then fix bayonets or draw shovels (recommend if you use DKoK) and then the job is pretty much done.
You forgot "check your corners" and, for our 90's guys, "always remember the chicken wing"
From my experience with terminology. CQC is more towards hand to hand combat situations while CQB is about close quarters shooting like John Wick. CQC is more if you have to engage in melee combat and CQB is you engage targets with fire arms in close quarters. But I could be wrong.
They are pretty much interchangeable, Battle and Combat are the same thing and that's where the B or the C on the end of the accronym come from, I imagine it's a just a difference in dialect.
I've been taking these into account. I am currently working on a Fan fiction with quite a bit of ideas from you.
Please drop a link when you're done.

6:00 “An a280 is perfect for this kind of situation”, dude that shit geared for way to long a range for this. It may look like it, but it’s no AK or even STG 44.
"Speed and violence." My favorite words.
One thing people always get wrong about CQB (due to movies and videogames) is the amount of rounds fired.
On November 2015 Paris attacks a French Special Police unit (I think it was RAID) engaged with a few attackers that retreated into a building. There were more than 5000 shots fired and in the end there were like 3-5 attackers killed.
While it is true that some units on average tend to fire more rounds than others that is an insane number.
So maybe dont cut the ammunition short to save weight, you never know what is comming...
If you are breaching a building from multiple directions be sure each of your attack elements is big enough to be self-supporting! The defenders inside likely have shorter lines of reinforcement than you do and can move forces rapidly to defend the breach points. If your attack elements are too small then each can be defeated in detail.
"you'll wanna bring something small like an a280"
"you'll wanna leave the heavy blasters and long guns at home"
isn't the a280 a long gun?
The coolaid man-manouvre is quite essential, yes
Surprise, surprise! YES! You can even use the strategy that the first Technodrome boss in "TMNT II: Arcade" used. Just kick the door into your enemy's face. You must have a GOOD amount of strength.
While there are a lot of situations where they are a bad choice, flamethrowers can be devastating CQB weapons, tearing through whole rooms of enemies before they can effectively react. There's a reason why they used to be the pillbox-clearing weapon of choice. And they even work on Wookiees! (Kinda.)
The best equipment for CQC environments in Star Wars is best summed up with a word or phrase beginning with the letter A. For anyone familiar Zanny and Caluben, you know what it is.
AWOOOLOOO!!!
Hey Allen keep up the good work
Legendary pistol and close combat combo
Well done video. Good advise, and movies do get this wrong a lot.
3:25 best thing ever said!
Nice vid
Nice swtor shot in the intro Alan
So impressed that you learned to speak gibberish just for us.
LOVE the thumbnail
2:55 the Trooper on the right hits his head lol
Jason Solo's breaching method was genius.
Wow lol I love that intro
Looks like Alan's humanoid language translator malfunctioned.
I dig that Rainbow Six: Siege and Star Wars mashup thumbnail
U made me miss Star Wars 1313 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
The thumbnail is top quality
I rate it
Thumb nail is amazing
So much for using galactic basic
Thank you for these tips Allen! Now we can finally take down the dolphins!
doors, stairwells, long hallways are all fatal funnels, avoid them if you can! also, if collateral damage isn't a factor, instead of clearing a house, just throw grenades, or a baradium demo charge/thermal imploder
Welcome to Generation...
Just Generation
And always try to assault from top down it is easier and enemy can get out of the building and not bunker down in higher levels
Good bit of Mongol tactics there - always leave the enemy an (apparent) path of retreat.
Republic Commandos are the GOATS for this then.
It was what they were bread for
Where did you get the clone commandos breaching door? I like it
Nice R6 reference
It was indeed an in Death look at fighter combat
C-Crab battle!
Fantastic! Living for these intros. The videos are still great, the intros are way better now. Fantastic
Just remember the basics of cqc. Tap O or hold it.
Rules of CQB
1 clear the door
2 clear immediate danger area
3 check you corners
4 sweep your sector
5 establish dominant position
6 check the living
7 check the dead
8 check the room > can be swapped
9 mark the room
10 evac on command

1) make your own door.

Infantryman never carry secondaries. Like, ever. The weight is a huge reason
That may be true of some militaries and roles but there is a reason most police and counter terrorism do, Close quarters combat is unpredictable, chaotic and very very tight in most cases, sometimes it's better to deploy a side arm to clear rooms especially if you know or believe your opposition isn't armored. Most cases of self defence happen within a few feet, that's why handguns are the preferred method of self defense.
You also need a back up in case of a malfunction in CQC because you most likely won't have time to find cover and clear the issue unlike normal long range infantry combat.
That is not at all why those people carry sidearms.
@@davidwarren719 Care to elaborate or do you just like to hear yourself speak?

Good tip!! If you are unfortunate enough to come up against a battalion of Wookiee it’s best to run, or just play dead! LOL!! ❤️😂❤️😂❤️
You missed the perfect opportunity to use the clip of the SAS storming the Iranian Embassy when you mentioned entering through windows
Alan...I have a couple of questions for you. One of the scenes in this video was the boarding action at the beginning of SW: ANH. I bought the novelization right after the opening day of the film in May of ‘77 and I recall that the Stormtroopers used a piece of tech to breech the airlock door called a Fusion Cutter. What is a Fusion Cutter? How does it work?
You actually use them in the original Star Wars Battlefront games, it’s literally just a blowtorch. Not as interesting as it sounds, unfortunately.
Thanks for the explanation. My then 14 y.o. mind had envisioned a two handed device projecting a containment field that spread across the door/hatch face. The field terminated at the gap going around the door between the door face and the bulkhead. A micro-fusion generator would then fill the area, within the confines of the field & impinging directly on the door surface, with a superheated plasma being created in kinetically energetic pulses by the reactor. The result was the sparks of molten metal coming through the gap and a sudden shower of hot shrapnel that was an exploding door.
Kirk Bolas I honestly like your version better.
In the games, it looks like a gas pump nozzle and you simply use it to repair turrets, med/ammo droids, & vehicles.
I want that picture of a breaching delta as a wallpaper. Please make it happen
Allen do a video about the star wars episode 9 trailer
I think CQC is fun especially when you have your trusty shovel and bayonet
Maybe first some shelling?
Always handy.
Lucas Nixan a little shelling never hurt anyone
there relay are not enough bording operations in Star wars id love to see attempts to capture capital ships via bording during space fights i mean capturing a Star Destroyer in tackt could be many times more useful then destroying it especially if the enny is unable to destroy its coding equipment. plus the tight environments in the halls of a ship would allow for a brutal Close Quarters fighting
no point in the rebels boarding a star destroyer. minimum personnel to crew a star destroyer would fuck with rebel manpower so the rebels have no reason to board/capture a star destroyer.
The bet option would be to wear power armor and keep your chainsword close. Works against everything( Don’t recommend against Jedi though)
Can you do a video on wat happened if palpatine get cloning instead of regular troopers
what about an crossfeled class vs star destroyers?

Thanks for prepping me for area 51 lol.
I played airsoft with a swat team. Senior year of high school our group celebrated with a Saturday of airsoft at a run down steel plant. It was also the same saturday the county sheriff was going to train at the same location. We thought someone called the cops cause well you know what an airsoft gun looks like. After the commander knew we were just having fun he let us stick around and watch the real deal. While they trained we talked to him about helping with their training. The sheriff liked the idea and we became the OPFOR for that county until some liberal lawyer decided it wasn’t “safe” and it wasn’t a “good idea to have cops shoot unarmed civilians”. They used paintball, we were already equipped for that and signed waivers. We were also adults and could opt out any time. The sheriff loved the idea because we weren’t formally trained making us more realistically unpredictable and we loved it because we got to do what we love.
Armour operator, next hopefully?
Rainbow 6: Bombardment
Or something lol - Rainbow with SW content sounds awesome
@Generation Tech make a video on how to talk like star wars.
Violence of Action wins the day.

Through the windows! Through the walls!
I wonder how the stun weapons work is it a stun bolt or a pulse? and can a Jedi deflect it with their lightsaber?
Mark Grehan yes as we’ve seen in the clone wars, Asoka was able to deflect Rex’s stun blast as she was being pursued to be arrested
@@tishector5430 Cheers I always wondered about that, I guess it's back to the drawing board for me.....I wonder would multiple flamethrowers make a good anti-Jedi weapon?
What game is that at 10:53 ?
Nice thumbnail
That delta squad x R6S thumbnail tho
When I saw that R6S commando poster I was done😂😂
Suggestions:
*Short burst rifles or machine pistols helps in hitting enemies quick
*Ricochet rounds bounces off walls and can hit enemies but its ineffective if you failed to get the correct angle
*Close quarters means shields become stupendously overpowered because it can corner people in a dead end making them to force surrender
*Although parkouring in confined spaces is a dumb idea... making you team know that you are going to get the enemis from behind can help (knowing the lay out of the building and having the skill to sneak undetected)
Just to name a few
Mr Random37 A few of the preferred tools are arms like the FN P90, the H&K MP5 and the Ingram MAC 10.
@@kirkbolas4985 they were all good weapons when it came to their effectiveness confinements of corridors
In close quarters combat always watch your head on the door
Nailed the cover man!!
What about *Gungan force shields?* They would be incredibly useful - they even stop Force lightning.
Just carry a one handed carbine or pistol in the primary hand (or a Lightsaber if you're Jedi-ish). Except if you're a Wookie, then you can carry a autofiring blast rifle one handed.
That you can see through them means your situational awareness isn't affected, a major disadvantage of solid shields.
And the best part - the cheapest way to get them is off a dead Gungan, so not only is it free (except for the cost of the sniper shot ammo that took out the unprepared Gungan), but there's also a dead Gungan, which is always a good start.
And if you have the time, Gungan makes good eating. Not as tasty as a delicacy like Ewok, but very nutritous.
I think the Star Wars lore generally say that shields like this create a lot of radiation might be worth doing a video about it
Ingenious

Hi
dude, when are you getting back to the clone wars ?
I would add, after you have gotten the intel on the structures, ships or Ewok village you're going to bust up:
1. Rehearse, Rehearse, Rehearse: Make a mock building that looks almost perfect to the intel you have received, change some positions of furniture or things so as to not get too complacent and have other friendly forces play enemy for you.
2. When you are rehearsing remember: "Slow is smooth and smooth is sexy" start off training at a slow pace and only work the pace up once your team has achieved a high standard.
3. If you are unsure Just send in Darth Vader first 😎
Who would win in a melee fight first order riot control troopers or commando droids give me the best answer 🤔🤔
