Just a little information: The watches that are out of stock come in stock once in a month. 😃 New models are released in 3 months.
If someone would reopen HMT and open it to global customers they would sell lots of watches.
Unfortunately, it will require a lot captial and i don't think current management is considering the re-open of the brand. However, they have launched some new models in quartz and mechanical category.

1. HMT is assembling old stock movement.
2. Dials are arranged through 3rd party vendors.
3. Minimum staff is working in the showroom. May be 5-6.
4. HMT is selling old stock. Not manufacturing new watches.
Quality is okay but I find old watches which were produced before it shut to be good. 👍

Glass domed shape hai. HMT mechanical watches (specially hand winding) watches me transparent caseback nahi aata. Automatic me aata hai kuch me. + Modified caseback laga sakte Hain alag aapko transparent caseback chahiye to.

Aap kisi bhi local watch shop (jo purani ho) par ja kar repair karwa sakte Hain. Repair person kisi purani watch ke sath parts change kar dega agar parts change karne ki jarurat hui.

You can visit HMT official website for hand wind mechanical watches. Also, check out Timex and Titan mechanical watches. They are costly but comes with better finish. Also, if your budget is upto 20-25K, you can have a look on Seiko and Orient watches. Hope this will help.
